i wonder if Chelsea Handler will replace Ferguson, and who will replace Colbert? If John Oliver had stuck around, he might have been given Colbert's slot to do a "Bugle" type show - which he's now doing on HBO, instead. According to some article i just read, CBS had to pay Ferguson $12M to ignore his right of first

you're a racist, man! racist!

it's gotta be better than 3000 Miles to Graceland, which, despite a couple cool parts, was utter trash (AND a waste of time!).

Wallace Beery. Wrestling Picture. Whaddya need, a roadmap?

i enjoyed the detail of Bart reading "Crazy Boy's Life". Think about it: someone makes that magazine (funny enough in itself), and Bart goes out and buys a copy in between dinner and Lisa's visit to his room. I loved that.

From the studio who brought you Friday Night Lights, it's #FML

I could see #SMH starring a slap-happy Kevin Hart

#Blessed - coming soon to a theater near you!

finally. i jumped the gun and bought (then promptly re-sold) the DVDs a month ago.

The Lost World, from Doc Savage. Any of those places where nature has been left untouched. Failing that, The Center of The Earth (as in Journey To…)

I generally eschew movies about making movies, but this movie (and Wag the Dog) is great, and so quotable - if only your friends were familiar with it!! "Go you Huskies!" "Everyone needs a hobby…" "Bazoomercom"

the "quick capper" to his joke was often Leno stepping on his punchline and/or the laugh - and explaining/over-selling the joke. just terrible joke-telling form.

Lest we forget "The Mansion Family" - a classic of the just-past-the-peak era -

this frees him up to take over Weekend Update (which he long ago said he'd trade all his success to achieve)

i thought the sketches were pretty short, as a general rule - the cold open didn't drag, the monologue was pretty quick, etc.  I thought maybe Perry would sing 3 or something.

if i recall, he did a quick version of "Needle" which bled right into "Harvest Moon" which is an awesome tune.  Perhaps i'm thinking of another episode.

maybe Pete can tag along, but as his character from Angel

I was hoping Danny Strong's character would get a sitcom

i'm pretty sure Skyler dies next week.  They've made her more "involved" in the crimes this season (she really went all-in against the Schraders) so that her death would be more justified.
