Damn Sam, no love for "Auto Focus?" I saw it for the first time a few months ago and loved it. AF, Ed Wood and Confessions of a Dangerous Mind are probably the best examples of I can think of when it comes to more recent, quality bio-pics. (Ray and Walk the Line did nothing for me.)

agreed. Strangers Almanac still holds up for me. Steve ignores Waiting to Derail and Losering and the unbelievable catharsis of the last song. That album is perfect to my ears.
