SCIFI.com
Are they going to show all the episodes of this season online? The shitty Chicago Comcast cable we have doesn't have the SciFi channel. Which sucks, I'm also missing my shitty-hybrid monster movies. I miss you Dinocroc.

Good point bee man. Thank god.

Really? So every hack fat joke was from someone who had taken the time to listen to their music? I have a FEELING I lot of uncreative dolts just saw her photo and felt that pathetic pang of the uninteresting which compelled them to whip out some lame fat joke as if a room full of college freshmen were just waiting to

On Fat Comments
I just hope the next time someone's on here bitching about the newest pre-packaged, soulless, assembly line pop-tart they remember this thread. I think it's time for Grace Jones to pay the AVClub a visit.

I'm pretty sure Baumbach actually got Gilmour to make that version specifically for the movie. I don't know that it's available anywhere.
I wish it was; it's a gorgeous version.

K&S is great. I think I have it memorized. That movie also introduced me to Jimmie Dale Gilmour and I went out and bought "Braver Newer World" after hearing that song in that beautiful "bar in the afternoon" scene where D'Abo is dancing at the jukebox.
I want to take the afternoon off and fly away to nostalgia-land.

Adorable Dick Bandana

Freedy Johnston is soooo underrated
I mean really.
The Trouble Tree
Can You Fly
Unlucky EP
This Perfect World
and Never Home were all great and that's a pretty impressive run.
Freedy will always be huge to me. I bought This Perfect World in high school and it was part of my soundtrack during that retarded, emotional time.
And

FACE!

Wow Lobsters, I usually disagree with you and this time I have to disagree.

Man, I loved me some Twitch City. And I'm a United States of American. (We're not supposed to just say "American," right? As if there is no Canada, Mexico or South America?)

jeffy's right, AVClub! When are you going to stop enjoying things you continue to enjoy?!

He won me over in THE NINES.
And Fred, he was never even close to the depths of Ed Burns.

that's a spicy meat-a-balla?

"acting/drumming"
wow. I should eat.

I will add this: I'm unsure about the exact action/drumming chronology, but I thought Jason Schwartzman handled it gracefully.

Not much to add except to say
I very much enjoyed this post. Well done. Snarklessly yours.

Bob Stinson's ghost.

Well, I'm almost 30, so having a definitive "favorite" band seems a little silly.
But if you must know, I'm imagining an argument with Bob Stinson.

I should've said "tempered" earlier instead of "equated."
Geez, Pavement is confusing sometimes. And they're arguably my favorite band.
