I seem to remember Dan Savage getting a letter from a guy who wanted to eat human cheese 15-ish years ago. So, I think at least a few fetishists might be into it.

I disagree about the poor American accent. I thought he was indistinguishable from an actual American. I was pretty impressed. It's funny that British actors in American shows can do good American accents, but whenever somebody tries to do an American accent on a British show, it is horrible. Is that because all the

I think he means he was conceived in 1989 but not born until 1990.

And then Peter got raped by the blow-up-doll inspector. And wouldn't that be an interesting job to put on the ol' resume?

I actually saw an article about this the other day while I was looking into the affiliation history of a TV station near me. Apparently, in 1970, the FCC said that networks could not air shows that they produced. The rule was eventually repealed but it seems as though production studios have continued to be separate

Yeah, Perot dropped out of the race in July and then restarted his campaign in October. It was a big deal at the time. A lot of people felt/feel that he would have done better had he stayed in the race the whole time.

Oh my god, that line was hilarious. I feel like I'm going to say that at every opportunity from now on.

So what is that, 74 episodes or so?

Remember when elitist chumps acted like comic books were only for kids? Glad those days are past.

I want them to play "(Don't Worry) If There's A Hell Below, We're All Going To Go" by Curtis Mayfield and "See That My Grave Is Kept Clean" by The Dream Syndicate.

Yeah, when she was like, "I'm Moira Queen, CEO of Queen Consolidated…" I was thinking, "damn, that stock is about to plummet."

I suppose. I just always find it disappointing in comics when a love interest is put in jeopardy solely through their own foolishness/stubbornness.

Yeah, I had the same thought. Also, why was Laurel at a legal aid office late at night anyway? Especially after she had told Oliver and her father that she would stay out of the Glades? And after Moira announced that the Glades were going to be destroyed? Did all the filing really just need to be done at that moment?

In addition to the Lucy, Daughter of the Devil reference, there was a Frisky Dingo reference in the episode description (at least on Comcast). The last sentence of the description was "Operation Bad Habit is a go." Phil said that to Killface in one of the first episodes when they were on their way to try to win

That was exactly my point. My opinion is that the show is being massively overrated in the comments here. Not sure why I shouldn't have brought that up (as was implied by radioactive badger, among others).

***We're a bunch of nerds who like talking about it amongst ourselves, and
if you don't like hearing us talk about it, then just close the tab and
crawl back underneath your bridge.***

Haha, well, thank you!

I don't want to stop watching it. I said I thought it was ok, and I'll watch anything with H. Jon Benjamin in it. I just don't understand the need that some people have where they act like everything they like is some work of genius. It's a decent show, why does it need to be more than that?

In the sense that the joke was terrible, yet they kept returning to it.

I don't really get the love for this show. I think it's ok but I'm not sure why people insist that it's brilliant. For example, the librarian was a terrible character. Extremely half-assed, yet people are expressing their admiration. It seems like people are trying way too hard to come up with reasons to love this
