I didn't think this was as funny as Tearjerker but I loved the scene where Hayley ran Bullock through with a sword and he congratulated her and told Stan to take a photo of him, Hayley, and Steve. "Quickly now, before I lose my erection."

In one recent episode (don't remember which), Steve mentioned that he dealt with his sexual frustration by working on his abs. At least, I think that was why he said he worked out all the time. I might be conflating whatever he said with some of Dan Savage's advice.

I would also like to vote in favor of somebody covering the Braking Bad episode. Or all the episodes. Whichever.

The Goering woman did change her last name, at least according to an article linked further upthread. She was identified as Goering in the article because she didn't want people to know what name she uses now (apparently she does not want to be contacted by neo-Nazis, which is eminently reasonable).

I don't understand what you're upset about. Apt was an apt word choice there. And restating and expanding on something a few paragraphs later is not a sign of self-congratulatory masturbation. Do you stop reading essays before the conclusion?

I actually thought the Gene one kind of ruined it. Far too obvious.

I agree that the show was not great when it first started airing. Of course, I wouldn't claim that it's great now either. There are some very good episodes but it's not that consistent. I think the comparison to recent seasons of The Simpsons is a good one.

Yeah, I noticed that too. They missed a word (forward, most likely), or the script originally featured a basketball player in a high post offense.

Definitely. I don't know that a notorious killer with a prominently disfigured face could have passed for a paperboy though. The plan seemed pretty good, Bugsy just shat the bed.

I also like the way he reads "the hell with this" in the telethon episode when Steve wakes up after Roger dressed him in an evening gown.
100%
I was impressed that Nick Van Exel and Antonio McDyess cared enough about a 2nd round rookie to keep an eye on him all season and try to keep him away from drugs. I don't know that many people in any field would make that kind of effort for a newcomer.
