Family Guy made dumb jokes but they've never paid poor foreign children to hold up a sign that read "Death to All Jews". Also, Family Guy and South Park are edgy animated sitcoms aimed at adults, not vloggers with young audiences owned by Disney.

No one is saying he's a Nazi or a Trump supporter. But you can be neither of those things and still say dumb shit.
Jesus. His "satire" makes Family Guy look pointed.
I think Family Guy is just as unfunny and hacky as PewDiePie. On the other hand, I don't know if even they have ever gone quite as far as his videos did.
I have been uncomfortable with YouTube stars for a long time and I feel like this entire story crystallizes why. The entire community is weirdly afraid of any kind of criticism of any sort - anytime any popular "vlogger" is criticized or called out they have an entire army of YouTubers and fans tearing apart whoever…
Yep, I find it really troubling how many YouTubers who endlessly campaign against Trump and his ilk are coming to PewDiePie's defense and trying to drag down any outlet criticizing him. There were instances I saw where these people were sharing passionate defenses of his antisemitism in between anti-Trump RTs.
My top episodes:
I've been watching old S1/2 episodes on Netflix, and it struck me how present Mort was in those episodes and how he's barely around now. I don't think he was ever a great character, but I do wonder why he seemingly fell off a cliff after a certain point, especially as Teddy became better developed.
I am very confused by the comments of this article, which suggest that Season 2 was terrible and Tina Fey's character was awful, when I thought the consensus at the time was literally the opposite of both of those things.
Am I the only one who thought S2 was significantly better than S1? *shrugs*
S2 had a few clunkers but overall I thought it was better than S1 - it was more willing to go deeper, darker and weirder without sacrificing the bright tone that made S1 so addictive.
I thought her character was fantastic in Season 2. The Andrea/Kimmy episodes might be the best the show has ever done IMO.
Typically I wouldn't really rank a reprise so high (even though I love me a good reprise) but this one standed out on its own to me, and Rachel Bloom is fantastic in it.
Damn, Saturday Night Live hit a 3.6 on Saturday, making it the highest-rated scripted show of the past week. I knew it was huge this year but I didn't realize it was that huge.
It's already been renewed for another season/production cycle, and considering how backlogged we are there's probably enough episodes for 2 or 3 more broadcast seasons at this point.
This was one of their best ever I think. It's amazing how good this show still is seven years in.
I agree. (Except I think Update is kind of shit now. But the rest of the show is pretty damn good at the moment!)
It was mapping the "crazy stalker ex" Fatal Attraction/Swimfan-esque trope though. The trope itself might be sexist but I think equating the "desperate need for an ex's approval" with Kellyanne's desperate need for attention is kind of clever and not as gross because, well, she does have a desperate need for attention.
Okay cool I'll just carry a TV around with me around to browse the internet while commuting.
I'm really surprised at the "meh" reaction he's getting in these reviews. I agree that he's having the strongest debut season a cast member has had in quite some time.
