From the way this season was written it seems like they were pretty confident they were getting a S4, because there was no way they could close all of the stories they were juggling this season. (Unlike say, the S1 and S2 finales, which generally capped everything off nicely and could've served as series finales if

I think Phillip reaching out to Sandra as a friend would be great. But a full out affair would be way too soap-y for this show.

I think releasing the Netflix shows at midnight Pacific is okay, because people are going to watch entire seasons at their own pace no matter when it drops. But I definitely think choosing it for Community was a weird choice. Definitely seems like buzz would be higher if there was more of an "event" surrounding the

I think Gillian will be a reliable TV star for years to come - she's already got another big-name project under her belt, and she's received recognition for work outside of Community with her well-liked Girls stint. I think Alison is probably the best chance of Community having a Chris Pratt-esque breakout, though.

To be fair, I do think Community right now feels kinda like Season 9/10 Simpsons. Still pretty much there in spirit, and still very enjoyable to watch, but noticeably off from its peak.

I don't think we've reached new Simpsons levels of mediocrity. For me, I'm still enjoying this show a lot, but it's not even in the 5 or even 10 shows I'm most excited about right now. It definitely feels very "comfortable" - it does what it does well, but it's not pushing towards anything new or fresh. That's pretty

Oh good, I was wondering what you were doing now that you can't troll the Broad City comments every week. Guess you've found a new female-fronted comedy to whine about!

I'm really glad they gave up the whole Evil Chang thing. He's been so much more enjoyable this season and last.

I love Happy Endings but it was very much just an updated version of Friends. I mean, it was way funnier and weirder than Friends and less concerned with boring relationship drama, but the template was similar.

I think the problem with Annie is that it really makes no sense for her to still be at the school. Jeff's a teacher, Britta's a slacker, Chang's insane, Abed has never really had much faith in his future prospects…it makes sense for them, but there's no way Annie, who had her future perfectly mapped out in the first

I've enjoyed most episodes this season, but this is the first one that felt like good, classic Community. Every character had at least one great moment, the jokes were unique and hilarious, the plots were really strong and had actual weight to them…I loved it.

Or even to previous seasons of the show. It felt wholly Community in a way previous episodes didn't (even though I enjoyed most of them!)

This was, finally, the "new" format of the show reaching its full potential. Really strong jokes, two good plots that had strong emotional stakes, and great moments for each character. If the rest of the season is on this level, I'll be very happy.

Yeah, "it's a half-hour comedy" isn't a good excuse. There's plenty of material to be comedically mined from the apocalypse - some of which they've covered. But instead it's chosen to be a show about a guy who wants to fuck women, the same thing thousands of others shows are about, instead of the really unique concept

Quite frankly I think the group has been far too nice to Phil/Tandy. He's outright jeopardized their wellbeings over and over again just for a chance to get laid. He's lucky they haven't banished him, which they probably should've done.

There are still some classics in Season 9 (City of New York vs. Homer Simpson, Lisa's Sax) and it'd be kind of interesting to see them discuss the decline. I say maybe stop at Season 10.

Since Season 2 took us to about halfway through Piper's sentence, I want to say maybe four seasons plus maybe an "epilogue" fifth season that shows where the characters end up. I would definitely prefer the show end before it overstays its welcome, it's a pretty important show in TV history so I would hate for its
