Chang is pretty good again this season! It feels like they have finally learned how to use him sparingly.

I liked it! It's very Britta-heavy which is always a good thing.
I think you are the only other one who got to episode 2, so I'm interested to hear your thoughts!
I liked the secret bar! I actually wanted a little more time with that dynamic.
I second the B+
It just seemed a little strange to mention that Shirley was gone but have no mention of Hickey. Obviously Shirley was a much more integral part of the show, but given how Hickey-heavy the back half of S5 was, I figured we'd get an explanation.
Okay, my thoughts:
I got through both! AM I ALONE?
Hmm, it's working okay for me?
Okay, this is pretty good so far! It feels like a different show, but it realizes it!
The theme song just looks sad now. :(
Imagine how overwhelming it'd be if they dropped the entire season at once.
I like it, but I thought this week's episode was a little weak. They've created such an interesting world that I can't be bothered to care about Phil trying to decide who he should fuck.
Not sure why you think we'd only get 1-2 seasons out of this show. Season 2 is already confirmed, and Netflix can pretty much keep renewing the show as long as there's interest around it. I'm sure we'll get to at least 4-5 years. Even woefully unpopular shows like Hemlock Grove make it to 3 seasons on Netflix.
I don't mind that there's more than one person on Earth, but I wish they weren't going for boring, generic sitcom romance plots. There's an entire apocalyptic world to discover, who the fuck cares who Phil wants to bone?
It does sound like her!
SPORTS!
I don't dislike the last two episodes. I find them less fun, but I think they're necessary and a good way to put a bow on the season. They tie everything together in a way that makes the rest of the season look stronger in retrospect. And the courtroom scenes are really funny!
I think this is probably my favorite episode. Daddy's Boy, the straight coach subplot, the DRUGS t-shirt, Kimmy laughing at what people who haven't been kidnapped find funny…it's all pretty much gold.
I get your criticisms, but honestly I am really glad the show didn't just take the easy route of being another showbiz satire/continuation of 30 Rock. I think Fey and Carlock could've done that with their eyes closed, but I'm happy they decided to stretch out of their comfort zone and do something a little different…
