Yeah, they've mentioned a few times that she lives in Astoria. Ilana lives in Brooklyn, in South Slope.

$700 for a room in Queens seems about right to me.

"STORE CREDIT FOR LIIIIFEEEE"
"No…Ilana, I need the money."
"Oh, right."

"This is a joke shirt."

YAS QUEEN

"I'll tell you what I like to eat. Cock."

The trailers for this show almost always double down on costumes and Dean puns since those are the most easily marketable aspects of it, so I'm not too worried on that front. I'm more worried about how, cast-wise, this is starting to look like the Archie Bunker's Place of Community. But at least they seem to be

Yeah Season 1 is really not bad at all, other than the first few episodes.

Not sure if it's just for the trailer but it has a very cinematic feel (and not just the action scenes, the study group scenes too.) It's a different kind of cinematic than S1 and S2, but it's definitely impressive looking.

This show looks pretty good, but it doesn't really look like Community.

Netflix is easily the most user-friendly of the 3 major streaming sites…I think that's why it's become ubiquitous, because it doesn't necessarily have the best selection.

I think the concept is a lot better suited for cable/streaming than network. Particularly when that network is present day NBC.

With Galavant failing and NBC not even trying with Kimmy Schmidt, this feels like network TV's last shot at making experimental comedy work.

Do Broad City and You're the Worst count as sitcoms? If so, I'd probably say those are my favorite…but in terms of network comedy, B99 is probably #1 (other than Bob's Burgers).

B99 falls a little short of the lofty Parks & Rec/Community/30 Rock gold standard of network comedy…but it's still pretty great.

Well, Dakota Johnson is the daughter of two super famous parents so her career trajectory isn't that surprising. Still, I think she's talented and charming even if she had a leg up.

Yeah, I don't hate this episode but I find it really kind of disturbing and not that pleasant to watch. It's definitely near the bottom of Classic Simpsons episodes to me, although it still has plenty of good stuff.

Are they competing?

As soon as I saw that I immediately thought "I can't wait to see what the crazy conservatives commenters will think of this one!"

The fact that they continued it after the not very popular original sketch just shows how desperate they are for recurring characters right now.
