Apparently all Nielson TV ratings data since March has been wrong:

Hopefully wherever she is as nice as the Martha Stewart section of K-Mart.

This is really sad. She was one of the SNL greats. She really never got the post-SNL recognition she deserved, but she did some really great guest work on The Simpsons, Futurama and 30 Rock.

30 Rock moms, specifically.

:( So sad. She never really had the success she deserved to, but she was great in the roles she did get. I really loved her as Verna on 30 Rock.

I don't really want a Season 7. The cast has been decimated enough as it is, and it would probably only get worse if they had to go through another round of contracts. I just want one last season to put a bow on everything. And maybe a movie that reunites everyone again.

I refuse to believe The McCarthys is good.

30 Rock has become one of my favorite shows to binge on Netflix. I mean, I've always loved it but it's just a show that works really well in large doses.

Yeah, it won't happen but I would really love for Erik to review the entire series. His 30 Rock reviews are probably my favorite that I've ever read (although I really liked Pilot's during S7 too).

I've always loved that joke because it both parodies the idea of Baby on Board stickers *and* suggests that lots of people intentionally rammed Marge's car. Classic Simpsons is truly a masterclass in joke construction.

Yeah. As are Abbi & Ilana from Broad City, Ben Schwartz, Adam Pally, and Chris Gethard, just to name a few others.

For those of you worried about cancellation, Bob's Burgers got a 1.4 last night. That puts it ahead of Mulaney (1.0), New Girl (1.3) and Mindy (1.1) and pretty close to B99 (1.6) despite being in a much worse situation than any of those shows. I think we should be fine for now.

Bob's Burgers - 1.4
The Simpsons - 2.0
Brooklyn Nine-Nine - 1.6
Family Guy - 1.9
Mulaney - 1.0

Yeah supposedly the NBC version was about Mulaney trying to get off of alcohol/drugs and trying to better himself, and FOX suggested dumping the premise and becoming a "hang-out sitcom".

I don't think it's quite on that level either, but it's pretty close and could get there soon. Either way, it's definitely the best comedy on network TV right now (Bob's Burgers aside).

Did they say it was in Park Slope? That felt kinda off. It was as Williamsburg as it gets.

Bob's Burgers is definitely more culturally relevant than Family Guy right now but unfortunately, for some reason, FG still gets way better ratings.

Yeah, I've noticed a lot of jokes like that this season. It's nice to see the show hitting the point where they know exactly how to write for each of these people.

I think some of his bits definitely work better if you watch the whole special. But I would personally recommend staring out with the "Salt and Pepper Diner" bit, which works incredibly well as a standalone story and is what got me into his stuff.

This was one of the most formless pilots I have ever seen. Who are these people? Why do we care about them? How do they even know each other? What is the point of anything going on? There was just nothing there. It did absolutely nothing to try to introduce us to these characters or the world they inhabit, which is
