Critics are good until they aren't.  When I read a review that shows an obvious deference or hatred for the filmmaker, I tune out immediately.  One reason why I like AVClub reviews - The Master, Crank 2 and Premium Rush all get a fair shake from one of the reviewers.  AO Scott can eat a bag of dicks.
