I guess "B" is the the gentlewoman's "F" around here now.
"Schumer, whose most recent stand-up special was called Mostly Sex Stuff, has a predilection for material that couldn’t exist on network (and most cable) television without continual bleeping. That’s not to reduce what Schumer does to mundane shock comedy, because it’s never that banal."
"Community" seems the exception that proves the rule, though. "30 Rock" is the only other show that comes to mind when thinking about shows that have been given time beyond one season to build an audience. A few others probably exist, but in most cases, the axe comes down pretty quickly.
You wanna go to the moon, Alien Jesus? *shakes fist*
Jeez, Todd—if you love network TV so much, why don't you gay marry it?
"Paint by numbers post-apocalypse/war/devastation, which is NEVER explained."

Count me among the same minority. I thought she was great on Dexter, and her character didn't annoy me at all. I started the show late and watched it in a vacuum (i.e. no internet message boards). After I saw the season where Rita died, I was surprised to go online and read the never-ending vitriol for her character.
I did the same thing (tried to avoid reading about it), which is the best route to take. You want to go into the film as free from spoilers as possible.
I saw the film recently (it was fantastic), and during the post-film Q&A, Shane said that he's open to Kickstarter as a means for funding future films, but only as a means for people to pre-order the film either on disc or via digital download (in other words, no other awards that are typically associated with these…
For anyone in Denver: this film is getting a special screening at the new Alamo Drafthouse tonight at 7:00 pm, and Shane Carruth will be interviewed via Skype afterwards. You have to buy tickets through the SIE Film Center's website: http://www.denverfilm.org/f…
Yes, except unlike Emily, he actually seems like he kind of deserves it. I mean, just go back and read what he wrote (along with his other reviews). Why doesn't he just save himself some time by writing, "I hate this. And everything else, for that matter."
This is most likely the first and last time Emerson and Thoreau will be connected in any way with Fred Durst and Jonathan Davis.
In America?
This was a Kickstarter project (I'm actually one of the backers). They're giving away blu-rays of the film, posters signed by the filmmakers, etc.
Yeah, that sounds like a Ryan Murphy show.
If you would have promised to mention Community at least once, I'm sure your pitch would have been accepted. ("I got a Community notification for THIS?!")
Or Jack's daughter being stalked by a mountain lion.
He really was the ultimate weasel.
