I thought eight was a bit weak (Katee Sackhoff's storyline went nowhere), but seven was a huge leap in quality over six.

Although I think five was still a solid overall season, I agree. The show got really dull for a while, but it's doing some good stuff in it's final season.

Totally agree. I have never seen a character more annoying before or since season four's Connor. And the show's new direction, combined with Spike's arrival, made for a great season five. Plus, season five has the ultimate trump card: muppet Angel.

Totally agree. Three was weak, but I actually really liked season four. Six was the worst by far, but seven — with its "terrorists take over the White House" storyline — was great.

This comment is spot-on. The show was treading water in its third season and totally revived itself with the time travel/alternate universe storyline that impacted everything in seasons four and five. (The cast additions of Felicia Day and Wil Wheaton were a bright spot, too.) I've never seen another show so

One of my favorite songs. The harmonies alone make it worth a listen.

Exactly. I've never talked to anyone who says, "It's one of the best shows ever!" It always seems to be, "It's pretty good. The beginning is solid, it lags in the middle, and it gets better in the last few seasons." I'm just not sure that I want to watch 200+ episodes of merely acceptable TV.

Smallville and Supernatural. I thought SPN would be over after five seasons, which seems like a manageable size. I'm still waiting for it to end, but the end isn't even in sight. And Smallville? Ten seasons. A decade on TV. Enough said.

I think I'll still have my hate goggles on when watching this episode until it convinces me to take them off. And it's going to take a lot of convincing after the mess that was last season.

Then I'm guessing that you've never seen an episode of this show. Even she can't redeem it.

This is the perfect lineup for a president who is much more of a celebrity than an actual political leader.

Yeah, because that's what would have happened.

I'm guessing it had something to do with his having porn stars/weed magazine models living with him and "taking care" of his young children.

I didn't actually read this article, because I couldn't scroll down far enough to escape that enormous forehead.

While any other executive would have given them the axe, Reilly found a way to save both Friday Night Lights and Fringe, giving them ample time to wrap up their respective storylines. For that, he gets a lifetime pass.

The film was shot on a $6,000 budget, so Nolan used inexpensive 16mm black and white film stock. It's original aspect ratio is 1.37.1 — both a practical decision based on the limitations of the budget and an aesthetic one, as all of the classic, pre-1954 film noirs that inspired the film's story were shot in this
