My favorite Firefly ep is "Out of Gas." Any episode that's poignant, hilarious, and suspenseful is great in my book.

How do you know "today's superhero comics aren't working for you" if you stopped reading comics for a decade?
I thought the ending of 100 Bullets was reasonably tight. Why don't most people enjoy it?
I loved Prison Pit #3. Nobody does visceral action like Johnny Ryan.
Tales Designed to Thrizzle #7 was another hilarious issue from Michael Kupperman. I thought his Mark Twain Autobiography would have been better if there were more hijinks with Twain's best friend, Albert Einstein.
No love for The Roots' Undun?
I haven't seen the Swedish films or read the books, so I can't comment on whether or not the rape scenes are relatively toned down. I'm not a prude, but I thought the rape scenes were too explicit.
Oh, yes.
I lucked out and saw this last night at sneak preview. I mostly agree with Scott's review. This is a well-crafted, entertaining thriller, but nothing more.
I wish the Big Two had the balls to stir things up. Instead, we get a Superman who can't drink beer http://bit.ly/vxpInF and Captain America can't fight the Tea Party. http://bit.ly/n6RMNd
The novels are pretty solid.
Fear Agent (from Dark Horse) is pretty coo.
Those are some of the best comics EVER!
Not from me. Issue #1 was all about how she had an eidetic memory and was scared. The artwork stinks.
Whenever the topic of autobio comics comes up, I think of this Johnny Ryan strip:
David B. is incredible.
Unfortunately, Rall can't draw for shit.
I couldn't agree more! Eichorn rules. I wish he had more stuff in print.
Don Heck:

Do you like Rob Liefeld's artwork more than Don Heck's?
