Kate Bush- Suspended in Gaffa

I, for one, dig this music. It's pretty eighties, pretty soulful, and therefore right up my alley. Her last album was awesome, too. Check out Run if you get a chance, fellow commenters and readers.

Delaware sucks.

Great, the only guy actually talking about the show is this dick.

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD WHERE IS THE FAMILY TREE REVIEW!? AAAAAGHHHHH

I once gave my sister Franny and Zooey as a present, and I heard through my other sister that she thought it was pretentious. She's a dipshit.

Pod.

Hey man, think what you want, but for me, if it's funny, it works. I'm not such a subscriber to the improv mantra of truth in comedy. It seems to cook up too many boring, albeit truthful, scenes in practice. Sure, this wasn't "by the book" good improv but if you didn't find it funny then I guess we have different

I just hope it doesn't become the kind of show we have to tell everyone in three years that we knew it was great when it was still on.

Does anyone else get the feeling that TVDW can talk himself into circles about what worked or didn't work on multiple, thematic levels, and set aside time to bemoan the state of dicks on TV, and consider the importance of this or that happening, but in the end he won't give the show an A unless it has an iconic book

I really love this show so far. It's just more charming than anything, I think. Both dates so far have required multiple views because I was laughing so hard.

Bad Zoot! Naughty, naughty, bad, evil Zoot!

So what's with the telephone place? It seems like a sort of proto-grindr but with a fifties vibe that really unsettled me, especially as a haunt to meet "a certain type of man" (hippies? waiters?). Sorry if I'm being obtuse here.

"He’s about as British as an actor can get [without being Benedict Cumberbatch]."

Another good song about reading is "Rereading of the Marble Faun" by Destroyer. This is all.

Nice keep away, the haters, on Girls. I agree, and say let he who has never found himself embarassingly lost in their early to mid twenties throw the first stone.

Huh. I work at a furniture store with an old Script Supervisor for all my children. She was unceremoniously fired, couldn't find work, and had to move to Delaware to work in a furniture store. I think they may not be asking her back.

I just finished Murakami's The Wind Up Bird Chronicle… that was unlike anything I've ever read, and I suspect I will be unsettled for a little while by it. But now, straight into 2666! Here's hoping it'll cheer me back up!
