Klaus Nomi's live recordings after his AIDS diagnosis are always really terrifying and beautiful— I guess haunting is the perfect word for them. It's as close as we could come to seeing a ghost. https://www.youtube.com/wat…

I see it was docked half a point for a lack of iron-related deaths. But really, what a great episode! Nice parting shot for Gyp, just desserts(?) for Gillian, and Arnold getting caught in his own game! And Richard, of course richard. Errol Morris is the best documentary filmmaker— He didn't always see it necessary to put it to multiple sides, he just found the interesting story.

I don't mean to say that there's going to be a like dream wake up scene, wherein everything was shown as a fiction, but just by being a show that deals with paranoia and fear so openly, it's definitely a point that everything is heightened from reality. Just to take the first episode of season 2 as an example, when

I feel like the coincidences don't matter so much— I mean they do, obviously, but somehow this show's universe is kind of an outward reflection of Carrie's inward mental state: everything really IS as malevolent and connected as she keeps thinking. It's going for an interesting standpoint, maybe even beyond the
