It just felt Wright.
It just felt Wright.
Santa Claus? More like "Frost"y the Snowman! AHAHAHAHHAHAH I am incredibly sorry.
Not so sure about this one. I liked him on the Daily Show, but these were some weak jokes. Selfies are dumb? There are a lot of white people on late night TV? Really?
Also: If I had a nickel for every time I said "In your face, Space Coyote" to someone, I would probably just say it all the time, to strangers, and never have to really work a day in my life.
Holy crap, Sava, if you put all the good quotes in the "stray observations" section, what are we going to put "THE A.V. CLUB" above? It's literally all we comment anymore.
That was ONE TIME!
I'm entirely defined by what turns me on. Why do you think I chose this AV Club name?
This episode also contains the most dated Simpsons joke of all time: Their insistence that it would be funny if a school had a website. (Studynet.edu does not go anywhere, sadly)
Apparently, Homer's "oh" is unscripted, as that's just the natural response people have to being in the same room as Albert Brooks.
Hank Scorpio revealing he was winning a fun run enough to stop and have a conversation, and then running off to complete said fun run without shoes will forever, in my mind, by the funniest thing the funniest show in the world ever did.
It's an honor just to be nomnomnom.
I am a great man, but I am not a good man, doctor.
Holy lord, the A.V. Club, this is exactly why people don't take us seriously.
Definitely one of my top ten final scenes in moviedom. "Hey you bastards! I'm still here!" is one hell of a closer.
I literally got chills when Daniel finally admitted to the murder. After two seasons of not really knowing what happened that night, those details were simply amazing.
Oh @avclub-d0cf409eb912cc0cc950b41b6d892d07:disqus , of course you're going to have a bad idea of @avclub-92c9b96871c64bbb5fc1913d3aec11b5:disqus if all you focus on is the misquoting of the pimps and the CHUDS line.
"We used to play Tecmo Bowl on this"
This is a tough one, but I'm gonna have to go with:
Oh man, I just saw this for the first time a week and a half ago. It's such an excellent choreographed film. I had to watch some of the actual pickpocketing two or three times before I understood where all the hands were. Loved it.
This is R. Kelly's design.
