Yeah, people really shouldn't give Kevin Smith a hard time. His story is pretty much the literal American dream, in which a guy who by all rights is a nerdy schlub manages to become world famous and make a lot of money and live the exact life he always wanted to just by discussing what a nerdy schlub he was.
