I sincerely hope that M83's new album is not nearly as disappointing as AnCo's. I love Animal Collective but their new album was a serious letdown for me. Plus, I just saw them play last night and it was by far the shortest performance of their's that I've ever been to (seen them three times). For these reasons,…
First things first, love that Spotlight got the BP, but c'mon guys it is abundantly clear that Mad Max was the best movie of the year.
or just cease to mackle (exist)
I know Stereogum already ran on an article on the subject, but it is nevertheless worth mentioning again that Spoons is without question the worst song ever made.
It's sorta sad because his early stuff was when he was at the peak of his powers. Amores Perros and 21 Grams were riveting, insanely good movies. Babel and everything after has been steeped in unapologetic self-importance.
Why is everyone joking and acting chummy?! This man is about to die!
I've been looking for a way to articulate my "meh" feeling regarding The Martian and you provided it. So thanks.

I was 10 years old when that happened and I ran away from home. Parents freaked out, cops got involved. I literally lost the will to live.
If the rest of their discography is anything like Koi No Yokan, I believe I'm in for a treat!
Out of curiosity, what is your position on the Deftones? Do you consider them a "Nu Metal" band? I just heard Koi No Yokan for the first time recently, and honestly it blew me away. But I don't know if it struck me as nu metal, based on my preconceived notions of the genre.
I THINK THAT SOMEONE IS TRYING TO KILL ME!
I remember watching the Good Neighbor Stuff vids years ago while I was still in college. I called it then that these guys would end up on SNL, and they're certainly helping to bring some merit back to the show. Well done fellas!
I see your point and I agree with it.
this is is the pro-Satanist movie the world truly needed!
