Not the worst teacher I had, but a memorable one that's been on my mind recently:
Fairly soon after 9/11, my history class had a substitute who was a retired music teacher from the elementary school system, so kids recognized him. Someone asked him what he would do to the terrorists in the Middle East. His strategy,

Jiminy Cricket: "Hades, what's your deal? Why do you feel this need to punish people?"

But would it have been better if Mel Gibson played Adolph Hitler?

Yes, but Rollo knows that according to Viking law, for every 20 betrayals you commit, you get one betrayal free.

Anna's last words will be something like, "Milady, promise you'll look after Mr. Bates and me baby. And Mr. Bates, keep an eye on Lady Mary - she's been so good to me." This will push a reluctant Mary and Bates together until they discover their shared love of causing death. The series will end with a spectacular

I also really enjoy her occasional reviews of it on her own website. I tried to comment support for it there a couple times but the commenting system was not working for me.

Shit-nara Sandwich.

But how can Edith not trust the father of her child?

I've been so tired of Mr. Green that the rest of the episodes could be filmed with a filter over the lens that erased the color green from the visible spectrum and it would still be too soon.

I suppose I meant more in the sense of whether other scientists would have been able to make those breakthroughs under different circumstances. As @TreeRol:disqus said, the show takes place in the early 60s, and I think the war didn't end in this universe until 1953, so American Watson wouldn't be doing anything,

This episode made me wonder whether this universe has discovered

I have no idea how much time has passed in the show's world anymore, and since there was a teasing moment when I thought the man grabbing Greer in the street was a cloaked (and possibly now covered in burns from when he busted out of the prison he'd set aflame) Lord Castleroy, please, please let us have this: Pepper

Dear Diary,
I finally told Rumple that we needed some time apart. No matter how many times we take a break, it never gets any easier. But he's just so different from the man I fell in love with - I wouldn't be true to myself if I didn't take some space. Maybe he'll use this time to find the man he used to be so we

My thoughts starting from when Wegemer walked into Hitler's screening room:
1. Whoa, Hitler isn't a man, he's just a projector?
2. No, that's stupid, you're tired, he's obviously not a literal projection machine.

The Story of Bertie-locks

I agree that Delphine's actress isn't particularly strong. Also, if she wanted revenge on Catherine and Mary (for nearly killing her), people would question why she revived Francis.

I think the main problem with it the first time around was that Catherine became obsessed with Narcisse in a way that seemed totally out of character. It seems like this time the show is going to let Catherine stay much more casual about it, letting Narcisse's own personality do its own dirty work in alienating Lola.

What if the character we know as Delphine is really a body inhabited by Clarissa, because Clarissa used dark magic to do a body swap so she could be beautiful and Trojan horse her way back into the castle, then had to kill off the Clarissa body to cover her tracks?
