Agreed that there were some definite emotional beats, however the episode over all felt a bit disjointed. I was hoping for a more epic departure of our beloved companions, and ultimately the episode felt like another one-off adventure. Check out our full take on the episode: http://wp.me/p1VQBq-1u8

I think you're a little more cynical about this than we are (it's never a good idea to approach a film from a "will adults like this" perspective). If you can let go of the idea that the film isn't aspiring to be more than a ton of fun, and simply enjoy another fantastic performance by Rebel Wilson, in addition to

Disagree about the Juliette/Nick scene: this felt like the most vital scene of the episode (which we agree was standard "case-of-the-week" in the most forgettable, obvious way). The scene in the kitchen, though, does a lot to justify the continued presence of the amnesia storyline: it reinforces that their

Completely agree about the Walter-torture scene - truly tragic. Check out our take on the premiere here: http://wp.me/p1VQBq-1tL

Agreed. The non-sexual chemistry is definitely a feat that seems to be achieved through the pilot. Loved the observation about the focus on histories rather than mythologies. Check out our take on the episode here: http://wp.me/p1VQBq-1t2

Agreed. We'll have to see how it plays out next week, but I hope they didn't just bypass it for the Vergara hotness reason fastandsloppy mentions above

That's EXACTLY what it felt like. "Have Bowen deliver a zinger about her getting fat and then avoid it because Vergara is hot"

Completely agree that it does nearly everything right (especially action), though the characters do suffer a bit as a result. The portrayal of women - in particular - felt lukewarm, and giving so much focus to Betts' Shepard may not have been the wisest move (Reeser, but especial Lichen and Schrams are just as good).

Disagree with the support for the fast forward - it not only skirts over a ton of comedic potential (pregnancy is hilarious, even in the early months!), but it denies us all of the fall-out. Jay simply hugs Gloria and then we're nearly at baby popping time? Where's the drama/conflict/comedy in that? It's as though

Good call on the Firefly-esque vibe. Now if only Rogers' Danny were an equal scene partner, the scenes would actually crackle!
