The characters and the plotting continue to be the worst thing about the show. Found the finale disappointing - not only did it revisit all of these storylines that I never wanted to revisit (Jenna's questioning, the focus on the love triangle) and even introduced new issues (after asking us to invest in the damned triangle, we don't even get to see how she breaks the news to Jake or the

Agree with both of you - what's truly interesting at the heart of Revolution is what the show isn't interested in exploring. It's strange to us, however, that they think we want more rote, 1 dimensional characters who bring nothing new to the table. Burke is game, but his attempt to deliver a Han Solo-esque rogue is

We had a different interpretation of the Matty/Jake pair-up - it ultimately felt tacked on and ill-conceived, however, I do take your point about giving a nice nod to the small pool of viewers who might be reading the show differently. Our take on the episode: http://wp.me/p1VQBq-1rj

Definitely agree that Close KILLED IT in the scene with her father, and while she's always been front and center in terms of acting, Rose Byrne deserves way more credit than she gets.

Cyrus was visibly tired, but Chehon still danced circles around him. Clearly this is a about popularity vs talent, but Nigel's comment is what really annoyed us: if he did that to inspire Cyrus fans, then that's not only cruel but really unprofessional.

Is this the first time we've seen the 11th Doctor choose to condemn someone to death? Could forecast a darker Doctor. Perhaps because - as Io9 suggests - the theme is all about memory and recognition and the Doctor is no longer being recognized (2 for 2).

Agreed - though there have been hints that many of these less-than-stellar, seemingly immaterial eps are more important than we initially anticipated

Yeah, didn't feel Kenzi's smoke was related to Trick's, which is clearly Garuda-related (whereas hers is something we may not learn about until next season, I think)

That's slightly worrisome for the finale, though this WAS a great ep
