Interesting focus on motherhood in these early episodes: between Em looking for Kara, Victoria partially protecting Charlotte and Faux prepping for maternity, there's been a big emphasis on mommying. It'll be interesting to see if any of this pays off, as several storylines just kinda seem to be happening without any

Didn't mind not seeing much of Snow or Emma (partially because of the distaste for Emma, but also because it kept the story a little more focused). Granted if we dedicate one episode to Emma/Snow and one to Storybrooke, that could upset a lot of fans (VERY shades of Lost S2).

I believe she's Australian. She's also an amazing actress. Her transformation on Dollhouse was incredible.

It was more that she ended up with BOTH of them. It just seemed really fake, especially since everyone seems to know that she's a walking bullseye

The credits were by far the best element of the show. The rest is pretty paint-by-numbers. It's doing them well, but considering the talent of Miller and Liu and the chemistry they have, it's still a little disappointing. Hopefully the show plays up more of these angles and cute scenes like the Sherlock playing the

Lichen's role is frustratingly thin - so much so that we wonder why she even took the role?! Grace is both better and worse this week. She's shown to be capable and even deadly, but she's so obtuse that she trusts the men she knows are going to try to kill her. Why is she both smart and an idiot all at once?

Unfortunately we can't agree. Not only does it feel like the show is treading narrative water (let's stop-in with the rebels so we can expose Charlie as a naive idiot once again and explore the ruins of Nora and Miles' relationship). The "twist" that Miles is actually involved in the Republic is completely obvious.

Don't have any issue with the Brody storyline - his rapid political ascent has always strained credibility, but the show has always steered things right. We're done with people second guessing the writers, who clearly didn't eff up the first season (debate the bomb vest on your own time; it's over, people!)

Totally agree Carrie: this feels like a middle of the season episode except for the set-up with the sunken Amanda and the late episode reveal that Victoria is still in cahoots with White Haired Man and planning on executing Emily (good luck with that, WHM).

It's off to a decent start, though Emma generally remains as insufferable as always. As enjoyable the as the presence of the Wraith was, though, it felt like the show's refusal to deal with the fact that Regina was a huge beyotch that imprisoned them all for 28 years. Hope that they'll deal more with the repercussions
