I actually met Nancy Holder in Vancouver last week and got a signed copy of the book! But I'm clearly not excited…:P

Agreed that she's often called upon to be the comedic caricature. They manage to do it okay with her and Jason. Andy ends up being the buffoon usually.

Would disagree with the suggestion that the wedding video wasn't good. It may not have been as entertaining as some of the "oh shit!" moments, but it held the episode together as everyone spent the hour reflecting and reinventing themselves. The tape was an important reminder of how far these people have come and who

This is particularly challenging to watch so soon after that last great episode - unfocused, tangential and yes, even a little boring. As interesting as Lambert is, the repartee feels forced and they're not as charming as other pairings on this show have been (he's a rogue and then - boing! explanation - he's Dark

Yeah, this episode definitely felt like it was marking time. I appreciated the show's minor deviation into faith in order to allow Jenna some time to clear her head, but this feels like a filler episode before we dig back into Matty vs Jake. Colour me unhappy that we're returning to Jenna's unresolved feelings

Very interesting to read your take on the flash-forwards and setting the context in previous seasons. Personally, I feel they're being too repetitive this time round. I think that at the core, the impetus for them is bang on, but showing them 3-4 times per episode is starting to dilute their effect.

Yeah…that was just a bad episode overall. Adding to the confusion is why Scott would trust Erica and Isaac to take care of Jackson when only two episodes ago they tried to kill Lydia. He doesn't trust them, but assigns them the task of pursuing Jackson  so that Mama Argent can capture and kill Scott? That makes NO

Yeah, you could tell that they were ramping up to this moment as it has all the hallmarks of a season finale. I'm happy that we're moving away from some of the more distracting subplots such as Ciara (and hopefully Kenzi's new love affair) and refocusing back on this new Big Bad.

Yikes, this recap is all over the place (too much recap and not enough commentary!)

Appreciated that there's a better rounding out of Sasha so that she's not just the bitch to Boo's underdog. Aside from that the episode was okay, but Michelle's reasons for sticking around still don't completely work for me. I shouldn't be rooting for her dancing career if she's meant to stay in Paradise and help

It bothered me that Kenzi was so off base with her gift, though, too. Since it's actually Nate's gift, it carries a whole lot less meaning than something personal Kenzi would have given her.
