It bothered me that Kenzi was so off base with her gift, though, too. Since it's actually Nate's gift, it carries a whole lot less meaning than something personal Kenzi would have given her.

OMG completely agree. This bird is so overstuffed at this point that adding another story is one Jenga piece away from toppling it over completely (what? too many metaphors in a single sentence? I learned balance at the school of True Blood)

Definitely felt like there was some repetition in the love triangle story, but like you, this felt conducive with teenage characters who obsess about the ramifications of events over and over again.

Overlooking Awkward. is totally NOT okay. It's definitely a summer staple show now, and probably one of the funniest comedies on TV for me (Cougar Town, 30 Rock are others I really enjoy…with strong intentions to watch Parks and Rec and Community one of these days)

So ominous! I feel the anticipation building, but I don't know whether to be excited or scared :)

You know, I would love to be the bitchy cynic that I am with other shows, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't really look forward to the show each week. Maybe that makes me a monster, but I know it's not great…and that kinda makes me love it more.

Almost thought they were going to waste Jackson for a few minutes there. Aside from some semi-crappy climbing CGI, that underpass fight/gay bar fight scene were really well done. I like that everyone got a few quips/moments.

As several of us have been discussing on the Lost Girl FB page, this is one of the weakest episodes of the second season and it either a) begins to turn around shortly or b) it only gets worst until the lead-up to the end of the season.

Far too much soapboxing and not enough actual storytelling. It's strange how much viewers are liking this show while critics are falling over themselves to blast it. Disappointed (mostly in Sorkin) for another episode that strongly puts us in the latter category.

I agree with you that the film IS about the economics of this kind of lifestyle and the kind of adult that it produces (underdeveloped, dissatisfied, lost, etc), but the movie itself fails to show this. The stuff with Dallas, his promises of equity in the new Miami location and all of the other financial dealings are

The Authority scenes are definitely beginning to drag - these seem eerily familiar to the early-mid S3 episodes when we were spending lots of time with Russell Edgington at his palace but nothing much was really happening. They need to get Roman and Salome out into the field. Still can't quite believe that they
