The Authority scenes are definitely beginning to drag - these seem eerily familiar to the early-mid S3 episodes when we were spending lots of time with Russell Edgington at his palace but nothing much was really happening. They need to get Roman and Salome out into the field. Still can't quite believe that they

Oh that's gonna happen! And her dad is going to be PISSED at Lacey

Because both guys are actually kinda decent (if flawed). Usually there's an obvious choice and the guy (or girl) that's clearly wrong.

Yup - marathoned 1-6 last summer and then had to sit and wait for the remaining episodes. The 22 minute runtime makes it feel so speedy and then you wait another 6 days. It's rough!

I think they'll drag it out - they'll likely run through a list of possibilities much like the carefrontation letter, though

Awkward. was by far my favourite television show of last summer, so I'm psyched to see it come back in top shape. A few minor quibbles (both Ming and Tamara seem frozen in the same narrative loops that they began the show in), but I thought the premiere summed things up nicely without feeling like a basic

I have to say it: UGH! I'm beyond frustrated with the beyond-obvious metaphors this show is throwing around. We get it - Christopher is adopted (like the calf). And killing the mother cow (aka Christopher's love for Elena) is "the right thing to do." Yes, Dallas - we GET it!

Zoey is clearly an example of when "all-star" guest judges need to be muted in favour of legitimate judges. It's fine when they can contribute, but as you suggest, that was painful!

Really liked the episode. Agree that the idea that Lydia would be harmed on school property was a little far fetched, but I've become increasingly impressed with the show's ability to balance multiple storylines without compromising too much on the storytelling front.
