Definitely agree that Diana is a much wiser choice for the Blackwell daughter (did ANYONE have her pegged? Bueller?).

Yeah, that introduction to Purefoy's character (apparently called Dominik) was pretty rough. How random is it that he's just there at the bar, conveniently ready to buy drinks and rock her like a hurricane against his lousy art? It's even more shocking when you consider this episode was written by creator Mike Kelley,

Yup - the ending was definitely disappointing. But even beyond that, it felt like an episode in which a list of points were being checked off: deal with Bodaway - check. Have Bridget's lie come out - check. Maybe reference Malcolm - check. There was nothing new in this episode because all the characters were playing

Where can I find this show? Email me? grabtheremote@gmail.com

Yup.

Generally when people do it's not an apt comparison, but in this case, it's pretty spot on. Definitely check it out - it's best to start from the beginning, but you can jump right into s2, too

Definitely love the show (whoot whoot CanCon baby!). We've covered the entire first season (thoughts on the premiere are here:http://wp.me/p1VQBq-Ly) and it's a strangely rich show for one so young.

Loved the Broyles-centric episode (and Reddick's Tight T-Shirts!). It's a little disappointing that he's still noble, even when he's betraying his world (and ours) for the sake of his son. All in all it was a great character driven story (our take here: http://wp.me/p1VQBq-Lt)

Agree that everything about this episode screamed placeholder - it's starting to feel like a season's worth of Smash would have fit into about 4 episodes of most other shows (dare to dream of a Smash / Spartacus mash-up). As you suggest, thank goodness for Christian Borle because he flat out stole the show (our take

Think you're quite right to say that this episode was all about penises (or lack thereof). The differences between the sexes (including the portrayal of sex) were very much on my mind this week as we got A LOT of sexposition (our full take here: http://wp.me/p1VQBq-Jy).

Funny how everyone naturally gravitated to the same "best of" jokes about Brad's Sheriff position and Max's meta comment about Penny's boyfriends overheard through dialogue.

Definitely agree that this week's episode is a step-up. Suddenly I'm yelling at the characters instead of at the show - which is a step in the right direction. It truly it at its best when they embrace the soapy, ludicrous plotlines and just go for it. That final scene (and next week's entire episode) looks to prove

Absolutely agree - it's nice to get a better sense for why Regina is motivated to destroy MM, but ultimately it feels like a letdown because it seems so ridiculous to hold a grudge a) against a little girl who's clearly been manipulated and b) across two worlds (including one of which the individual doesn't even

One of the reasons it worked so well is because it was written by series creator David Greenwalt (aka showrunner on Angel and all around awesome). Clearly this episode is meant to set up a boatload of story for the remainder of the season. But we probably shouldn't expect the rest of the season to be as good as this

Maybe not since a few episodes ago we saw him as he sees himself with the masses cheering for him while he stood on his balcony. Seemed pretty "royal"

I like the slogan, though it makes me imagine a partnership between the show and deodorant. "Whew Peter, thank goodness I had my Degree on. That's how I stay cool and dry when it gets weird."

Agreed, except that it came out of the most stupid situation possible. "Oh no - the guy you've met twiced lied about owning a boat and really he's poor!" Considering Cassie showed up to get her to support the circle Diana is the defacto leader of and they need her because SHE insisted they bind it, it was a pretty

It actually made me fear for my sanity because I suddenly didn't hate Melissa? It felt so shameful and wrong!

I actually thought this was an excellent episode - despite the Diana/Aussie Chomper interludes, which felt both suspicious (as you suggest), but also like an impostor storyline brought in from Gossip Girl or something (our take here: http://wp.me/p1VQBq-G4).

Didn't actually find Max's oven storyline very amusing, but really enjoyed Falcone (our take here: http://wp.me/p1VQBq-FV). How funny would it be to bring him back every now and again - just like Three's Company!
