Riki Lindhome's Brief Role
It's too bad she's used so sparingly in the one episode she's in. I think she's a pretty talented actress from what I've seen her in (and Garfunkel And Oates is pretty funny.) It would have been nice to see her as a featured POTW.

A comment from someone who just watched the first episode.
Sorry to lead with a subject line that sounds condescending, but the amount of comments already posted that have nothing to do with the actual first episode of the show bother me. This is not a review of The Wire or Generation Kill. It is also not a forum for

You people realize Drolz is just a troll, right? He did the same shit he's doing here on several Sons of Anarchy comment threads which led to several pointless debates. All I'm saying is don't get too riled up.

@ i and 1: Well I saw the other comment first and was a bit peeved since I put some thought and recollection into my original comment.

Not the best but City on Fire is pretty good too if you can find it.

Gilliam may have cut his teeth with Monty Python but most of his directorial efforts since have been American.

Apparently you missed the episode where they talked about clarity in making your point. Are you implying my comment was overly-wordy? Because if that's the case you could be a bit more direct in calling me out.

A Personal Homage and Hard Boiled vs. The Killer
I discovered Hard Boiled on the recommendation of an older friend and film buff my freshman year of high school (1995). I was lucky enough to have a bad ass video store close to me that carried all kinds of Chinese (mostly Kung Fu and action) and Japanese (mostly anime

I forgive you. Sometimes the cut/paste function has a mind of its own.

Repitive for the sake of ???
Right now this show is just spinning wheels. I'm hard pressed to even say that I feel like it's all building towards some kind of epic conflict.

Wouldn't all this bitching be more appropriate in the comment thread for tonight's episode of Lost? I mean, not watching V because of a promo decision ABC made is just silly and childish. I'm not saying V is a must watch show or anything (far from it) but just chill the hell out.

Mullens and Raylan…
… are developing a nice chemistry in their scenes together. We'll probably only get one or two an episode but I think they're good together.

Yeah I noticed this as well. When he played Bullock on Deadwood it was 100% barely-suppressed rage or just plain old rage. Maybe they wanted to take this character in a different direction so it wouldn't be as one-note.

I saw it too. When Raylan drank from the glass it looked like chocolate milk, when Pinter drank from it it was almost half foam.

All I could think of was:

Not only did she say she didn't like this season, she said Tripplehorn and Goodwyn were down on it too. While I appreciate the candor and find it refreshing, I'm not sure I'd drag other actresses on the show into my comments.

Fucking hipster fucking backlash…
I'm so goddamn tired of this term. But what I'm even more tired of is the fact that it actually exists. Case in point: the first post in these comments has already led to a deconstruction of CS based on her comments related to hipsterdom and moved right along to the definition of what

Let's all have a little patience.
It's the second episode folks. I think the fact that several people are ready to label this show another throwaway crime drama procedural is pretty short-sighted.

I'm sorry, did I miss the courtroom scene in tonight's episode?

I went to Gonzaga, sorry to disappoint you. We may have been mostly white but we still loved our Go-Go. This was prom my junior year, our senior year I think we switched over to a boring ol' DJ. I can't remember the band's name, but I do remember them getting high in the hotel lobby bathroom during the break between
