And if it's still drawn by hand, we can only blame the directors for that. Listening to the dvd commentary for seasons 5 to 7 is just a gold mine of information for understanding "what makes/made the Simpsons great". So, back then, the things they were doing right in the animation department was so perfectly bringing

It just looks cleaner to me. Them moving into digital animation and HD is pretty low on the list of problems-with-the-Simpsons-these-days.

And this is the first time I've seen anyone refer to it as "car hold". Didn't know that was a thing

Someone needs a break from the Simpsons: the reviewer

Not all Jordans are bad kissers. So, my mum tells me anyway.

His voice is the only thing that stops me moving from liking to loving Nathan For You. And I'm not too sure what it actually is about his voice that I find so annoying

And that was at least watchable.

Needed more Scientology

It also means more time avoiding marking the big pile of "essays" on my desk.

Well done again Mr Harris. Richard Kind, what a great story-teller. I think he's at his best playing comedic turns - preferably goofy, slightly oddball characters. He is just pure gold and a joy to watch on Curb as cousin Andy, especially how he so perfectly pushes Larry's buttons.
Give us another fucking season Larry!

Use the schwartz!

You are right and I have been doing that lately. Still, the AVClub search engine needs to go or perhaps be completely overhauled.

There's an article floating around here about the story of these movies getting made. Though I can't provide a link, so in essence my comment is useless. As useless as the AVClub search engine

I accidentally read "irrational" as "bigoted, orangutan-haired asshole.
My bad

First line of the "Intermediate" section

I don't know if it's because I'm mentally deficient or not, but I've just never been able to get into Blazing Saddles - or a lot of Brooks' stuff for that matter. The jokes seem too obvious and heavy-handed. I've tried and tried, and I also love Pryor and Wilder.

Actually, I'd prefer them as friends and thought this ep was a little weak.

No tirade against Mormonism needs explaining.
