I honestly don't understand how you can be interested in 'how' these episodes explore [what they're exploring] when you're kind of ignoring 'how' they're exploring [what they're exploring]. The season is *meant* to be consumed at once, it's made/engineered that way.

Sadly, I think the real story is a lot simpler than that. There just aren't that many Indian actors in Hollywood who are well-known enough to be trusted with speaking parts in Arrested Development. Most of them were in Outsourced.

I've never been to India, so it's refreshing to see its portrayal here defended by someone with insider knowledge. Thanks, @avclub-3db41011acc2d229176bf6a92202728d:disqus !

I guess it's all subjective in the end. I agree with Noel; I thought it was that characteristcally-Arrested blend of clever and actually funny.

It wasn't that distracting to me (I may have mild faceblindness, no joke), but a lot of my friends agreed with you, @avclub-4ec5f6e716f0557299b9deed9d09e225:disqus

Mistake fixed, hopefully not too much "damage" done.

D'oh. Sorry for the spoiler. Edited the original comment.

I kind of want to create a few sockpuppet accounts just to "Like" that comment multiple times. Yes, a spot-on analysis of the breaking and subsequent repairing of the J.D./Elliott 'ship.

I agree that J.D. was at his worst near the end of Season 3. I had a difficult time believing how awful he was; it didn't jibe with everything else we'd known about J.D. up to that point. It's a big part of why Season 3 is overall my least favorite. We'll talk more about

I guess I should clarify the difference between a character being an awful person and being an awful character. Paul and Jake were awful people. Keith was an awful character. He was the best intern from his class (because they kept telling us how good he was), and he was a nice guy (because they kept

Plus, that would still count as "Six seasons and a movie," right?

Noel, I noticed that you quoted that Indian cab driver calling someone an "Anus tard." [EDITED to remove accidental spoiler] It's funny that you should pick that line in particular, because it's the first instance of one of the season's funnier recurring gags. Did you know that already, or was it just a coincidence?

Oh yeah, I almost forgot to mention my favorite line from this pair of episodes: when Dr. Cox says "Why don't you just fire me?," Kelso responds with "I would, but even though the room was quite crowded when you sucker-punched me, nobody saw it happen."

I left a can of soda on my roof before I took off once. I noticed it was missing at the first red light we hit, then rolled down my window and reached up to grab it. It was still upright and on my roof.

You know, it's not off the table that Joffrey's wedding could end in tears, also.

It's a shame, you missed a lot of the original music cues if you only caught up on Netflix.

One of my favorite pro-gay throwaway jokes was when Cox make a crack about J.D.'s "Coming out party."

I nearly forgot about him. Yes, Michael J. Fox's two episodes were top notch. Or at least, his role in them was.

Oof, I thought it was the other way around. I liked the character she was playing when they were dating, but it felt like more of a riff on herself after that.
