I don't think Lynne was so omnipresent.  Who else did he produce?  Olivia Newton John for one or two tracks, Dave Edmunds, Wilburys, Petty (two albums), George Harrison, and one or two "Beatles" songs.  Might as well complain about Steve Lilliwhite or Daniel Lanois.

Does this assume that a film producer or ad agent is going to use the new versions instead of the originals?  I'm not sure who would bite unless the fee is much much lower, and then wouldn't that reduce the royalty significantly?
