I thought the whole cast was amazing in that movie. Cruddup and Lee deserved acting nominations, too. Hard to imagine Brad Pitt in Cruddup's role, though it nearly happened and probably would've sent revenue through the roof. I think he's been terrific at times, but Cruddup owned.

I caught DAZED in the theater and wound up in a bit of an argument with my buddy who thought the movie glamorized all the destruction (hazings, bashed mail boxes, et al). He's a super bright guy, but occasionally reactionary.
