I'm guessing you're being faceitious, but I had a friend who lost them after "Chronic Town." He loved that EP and nothing after.

"Puttin' Shame in Your Game" is my favorite song of theirs, and HELLO NASTY my favorite of their albums.
I was telling a friend about that song the other day — so, so good.
The "it seemed like they could go on forever" comment struck me. At the early stages, following and enjoying R.E.M. and U2, I always figured R.E.M. would be the one with the legs. I stopped actively listening to each after MONSTER and RATTLE & HUM, but not long ago discovered that NEW ADVENTURES has some terrific…
My favorite, as well.
@avclub-e00944d55e6432ccf20f9fda2492b6fd:disqus I'd really encourage you to dig in. "The One I Love" is okay, but "Orange Crush" is thin gruel, indeed. They were a pretty darned good singles band, but you just cited two of their weakest. Check out MURMUR and RECKONING. I actually think LIFES [sic] RICH PAGEANT is…
I'm joining the minority opinion on this, as well. I thought Black Widow and Banner/Hulk were very well done and that's about it. Loki was okay but I thought he'd be chess master-cunning or something, and his gamble was pretty obvious.
$12.99!? What area do you live in that sold single album-length cassettes for so much in that era?
That's my favorite, too. It's like their SANDINISTA! but focused.
A Year and a Day.
"It's 'Leonard.'"
Good for him!
…was it "pads" or "pants"? Did we ever settle that?
That one line sounds very much ADR, though. That could get distracting.
Hathaway was doing fine there until that last bit, which reduces her to a little girl. Hopefully it plays better in the movie.
Yep.
Woody Allen, James Cameron, Spike Lee, Tyler Perry (yep), and Martin Scorsese as well, I'd say.
Didn't Theron gain wait for MONSTER?
Yes.
So much better than I expected, even if it's too long and has its share of sophomoric jokes. Plus it really gets Midwestern winter right: There's plenty of exhaust-stained snow on view. The leads have nice chemistry, too. I'd say it''s a B.
