Yeah, I saw that. He posted not long after I did, so i didn't know what to make of that.

Truly underrated movie.
Yeah… Plus,.he more or less instigated it. :-)
@Scrawler2:disqus Part Two :)
Banksy's seen F FOR FAKE, methinks.
@Scrawler2:disqus …maybe it's just me. It's a good song, but it seems like that's their identity to some folks, and they really deserve to be better represented than that. If I were making a two-CD mix to try to make a case for them, I probably still wouldn't have room for it.
Can.
ELO - "Telephone Line"
Bonus points!
I was there for the MURMUR through MONSTER run and then fell away (not that MONSTER is *that* bad). Just discovered NEW ADVENTURES a few months ago and am listening to it a lot. Can't stand the lyrics to "Wake Up Bomb," but most of the rest of the record is terrific. A little pruning and releasing it instead of…
I have surprisingly good luck with the Friday matinees. Most other folks are working or in school; I just arrange a few hours off and it works pretty well almost always.
I'm really glad people are hearing that version. THE LAST WALTZ was the Band I first heard and fell in love with, and although the studio versions of these songs are expert, they have a whole different vibe. the "rock" was kind of buried and the "roll" was emphasized in the studio, and that's fine, but I almost…
I'll be that guy, part two: Weinberg didn't drum on the studio version of "Born to Run." That was Lopez
Ferris Buehler tilts a bit this way, too. How Broderick pulled that off amazes me.
I guess it's just that there's sympathetic nuts (R.P. Macmurphy, Birdy), interesting nuts (Jack Torrence, Pinky Rose), and movie-killing, unsympathetic nuts (Nina Sayers, Scottie Ferguson). As interesting as BLACK SWAN and VERTIGO are, and however artfully made, those characters just kill the stories for me.
Scottie in VERTIGO. As good as Stewart's performance is, I think he's nuts for going crazy for Madeleine/Judy when Midge is RIGHT THERE.
Oh, HECK yeah. That guy had charisma, which is what the part really needed.
Was that the same one the girl used wantonly to get to class on time? If so, I think I made my case.
I agree with much of this, but the movie made a lot of money. It's just so bad it SEEMS like a flop.
I also hated the way that everything was handed to him. It's also ridiculous that time travel is at his fingertips but he doesn't go back and rescue his parents.
