Possibly my favorite Joker moment was when he first addresses Harvey at the hospital.

AFTER HOURS, ALMOST FAMOUS, MEMENTO, HIGH FIDELITY, FARGO
Those are movies I saw with friends where we just had a ball.
It's largely about the sickness of vengeance, and that, if you have an unforgiving heart, you'll never run out off villains, because you're making them as you go along.
Memento has no flaws. It's rock solid. people who think there are plot holes aren't thinking carefully enough. Every fucking thing is accounted for.
A friend of mine once said you could pause the movie anywhere and it would make a great record cover. I thought that was maybe the best critique of it I'd ever heard.
The worst offenders were 8-Tracks that faded songs out, switched tracks, and faded them back in.
P.T. Barnum was right
God, those trailers look just awful. The whole driving-off-the-cliff thing is ludicrous. The special effects look good, but overall, this looks like a bad idea gone wrong.
DONNY
Donny Osmond, FROM DONNY WITH LOVE.
if we're talking prog, Can's TAGO MAGO and FUTURE DAYS certainly fit this bill.
ELDORADO
ELO's ELDORADO definitely has accumulative power.
Preston Sturges
HAIL, THE CONQUERING HERO kills me every time. Especially the brilliant speech writing bit — "Sometimes I even let my grammar SLOP OVER a little…!"
MURDER BY DEATH doesn't hold up at all. I remember it paying on my campus and I got some friends excited to see it, then the film unspooled. Bad, bad, bad. I felt like an idiot.
I dunno
His stuff really doesn't hold up for me. Maybe was never so hot to begin with.
OUT OF SIGHT
We need more love for OUT OF SIGHT here. He was amazing as Karen's dad.
You also have to remember that actors' performances are edited. The person who cuts the film really does put the performance together, and sometimes what shows up isn't the performance the actor thinks he or she gave, and that can go either way. I can imagine not wanting to subject myself to that.
John Goodman had a good stretch.
Oopsie.
Oopsie.
And again, I say: Adam Arkin.
