ugh. like everyone, totally mixed opinions on this episode since it feels like 4 or 5 different shows mashed together.
This is the episode that it becomes glaringly obvious that this is a Showtime show, a show that has diminishing returns as they wring all of the natural drama out of a story, making sure that they can

- I'd give this a B-. I lost interest a few times, but overall, I enjoyed Cupid's story.
- DJ Daario was annoying, but the actor certainly popped. you could tell he would be a recurring character the moment he was on screen. But yeah, the misrepresentation of what a good DJ does continues.
- I find the ethics of Oliver

nope. this didn't work for me at all.
This felt like it was putting its crosshairs on a younger demographic and a safer 'family' audience. So much of the humor of this episode was supposed to be derived from putting the gang in close proximity with a child and… something. It felt false, and, frankly, awkward for the

I didn't see it coming. I always assumed he was a grifter, and the fact that he was pulling up stakes right after she revealed she had sold her house seemed to confirm it for me.
Gillian looked like she had 'suicide face' when she was leaving Tommy, so I was pleasantly surprised that didn't happen.
and then when I

watching this show, I spend most of my time trying to figure out who it's aimed at. Who would find this wholly entertaining and not insulting. I think this is aimed at 10 year olds. Which is fine, and probably where Marvel should be setting their targets. Understandably the network can't outwardly admit that it's

I always watch Dexter the next day, so i miss all of the fun commenting, but…
- Marshal Lem goes to talk to Deb. He does not knock on her door where the target of his pursuit is hanging out in plain sight. He assumes Deb will be on the beach beyond the house and just walks straight there.
- That 'brain surgeon' serial

- why would you hire Lem to be a dangerous new Marshal when you have been paying Quinn for however many seasons to hang out and sleep with every woman in the cast? He has messy emotional ties and conflicts of interest. He had really strong suspicions and circumstantial evidence about Dexter. The audience knows who he

anyone who's seen this: Is there much Joel RL Phelps in it? Silkworm was a favorite band when he was still part, but i lost interest almost immediately after he parted ways. I imagine he's referenced since he was co-songwriter & singer, and he sang on the titular song, but the website doesn't mention him.

"Guys! & Bruce Willis! Look how far i threw that "Return Of Bruno" CD!"

yeah. i was really struck by the scene where Rudy was calling everyone out for how much history they had & how many favors he'd done for them (like misremembering offering to trade beds with Finn). You mean these people who just arrived this season?

Like clockwork our views of every episode this season have been practically the opposite. This ranked among my favorite (with top honors going to "Charlie & Dee Find Love"). We're eight seasons in, and these characters are never going to grow. The fact that they don't know this is their greatest charm.

That was an incredibly generous review. As someone who can enjoy a stay episode of CSI, Bones, or law and order, I had to bow out about 25 minutes into this episode. I didn't realize it was a sequel to The Closer, and never saw that show, but this seemed really poorly put together. Once you got past the well done

I noticed the fly diagram behind Walt in the scene where they were discussing the GPS tracker. It's an even funnier easter egg now that i know Rian Johnson directed the episode. Such a great show.

that was more of a question than the other ones. They never said that the Sanguinistas were a recent thing, and i get the sense that they could be a very old, but i was wondering about their purpose before the Great Revelation. I guess the Sanguinistas might have wanted to stand openly in the streets devouring humans,

YES. this is part of my problem. When this was being set up at the beginning of the season, and i was, admittedly, half-paying attention, I thought that the conflict was religious zealot Sanguinistas vs. the enlightened Authority. But then the Authority started praying to Lilith and drinking sacred blood.
