Don't normally quibble with grades, even though I really like the word 'quibble', but only a B-?
I thought this was the best of season 4 so far.
I kinda thought the show hit a weird tone in season 3 and while it's still been fantastic, it's been a bit more melodramatic.
Yes, there was a bit of that with the Tom thing

He was Sasha's Astaire at one point, but he's mostly been in the background.
I definitely don't think we knew he taught classes.
I assumed he was a student.
Also, why does Carl not appear to attend, anymore?
I get that he was looking after the kids, but so was Boo supposed to be.

So is it just going to be a quirk of the show now that at the top of the hour, someone will throw off a line, excusing a certain girl from that week?
"Oh yeah, I forgot that Melanie's gone deep-sea diving with Fanny. I'm glad you're back from Antarctica, though, Boo."

Woahhh there, Monsieur Condescension.
A) When and why would it ever be 'fun' to admit you're wrong? Bitch, please…
B) Really? With the 'enjoyed learning more about the world'? I'm not developmentally challenged or anything.
I was just being a bit pig-headed on something I didn't really have strong feelings about in the

"But at times the emotional discomfort was more akin to Six Feet Under."
Definitely.
Everyone's basically Brenda.
Awful, privileged people who are too wrapped up in trying to take on different personas and analysing everything they've ever said or thought that they just become unsympathetic.

Ohhh, I don't know. I talk out of my arse like 70% of the time. You know when you say something and then someone challenges you on it and you feel like you have to stand your ground whether you have strong feelings one way or the other? Yeah, that's pretty much it.

But it really wasn't the greatest 'original instrumental arrangement' and also… it was for 'Baby Got Back'.
If I stripped back 'Push It', gave it some piano and a melody that had nothing to do with the original and someone stole it, I don't think I'd be overly offended, 'cause it's just a kitschy, jokey cover.

So he's just a drama queen?
Cause, I mean, it was a cover of 'Baby Got Back'…
Nothing to brag about/get upset over TOO much, whether it was stolen or not.
Also, I can't ever hear that song without thinking of Jennifer Aniston rapping it to a baby. There's your amazing cover version.
"One more time from the top!"

It really was ridiculous and fuelled my hatred, but the original cover is pretty cool.

Oh yipes. I did forget. But I still have not forgiven.

Why was there not the same uproar over Finn singing that cover of 'Girls Just Wanna Have Fun'? I liked that cover.
Not Finn's obviously, because Cory Monteith can barely sing and if I remember rightly, it was in a really patronising 'yay, women!' episode.

@avclub-5eed6c6e569d984796ebca9c1169451e:disqus they were! There was a whole thing where, for no reason other than Tyra wanted Rob Evans on the panel, she fired the Jays and Nigel.
And yeah, the college season lost me, too. I stopped watching after the first few episodes. It's not even that it was bad, it was just

The Office sticks a lot more closely to the mockumentary thing than Parks and Rec or Modern Family do.

Ahhh yes, ANTM.
Another 'I'm so excited about this thing I just learned about!' show.
Tyra's supposed to be a full-on tyrant though, isn't she?
If she tells you to smize and booty tooch, then you damn well smize and booty tooch!
Wow, there are a lot of red squigglies going on in this comment.

Joshua McKinley was always the worst at pulling them off.
You could tell he'd been cajoled into showing fake excitement.

Scanning what you wrote as I read down, I saw 'made to order from Connie Britton', which gave me definite pause.

I was going to mention Scrubs' final season.
It had a sudden energy again.

The product placement is becoming my favourite part of Project Runway.
That or the designers getting overly excited by someone/some place they hadn't heard of until five minutes previous. "Oh my God! I cannot BELIEEEEEVE we're getting to meet Fluvia McCallister!" Incidentally, in my backstory for Fluvia, she has a

But if they weren't, we wouldn't have seen the scene.
Mockumentary.
