But if they weren't, we wouldn't have seen the scene.
Mockumentary.

Forget it, Racj82, it's vickstown.

Weird Ashley is going to grow up to be Carrie's dirty-pillow-chastising mother.
"They're all going to laugh at you!"

Oh God no, not at all!
I'm none of those things, but I wouldn't say I'm a slob.
He actually is a proper food-stain-having, hibernating, unemployed slob.
But that sounds like I don't like his character and I do.

A slobby, dramatic bitch?
Yikes…

Yep, we'll always have Max being a better, if slobby, representation of 'us'.
…until a week or two from now when Happy Endings is cancelled.
I'm not sure what I'll do without my weekly Eliza Coupe.

Wow, it's weird how similar those pairings are, apart from Camille vs. Gloria.
Mind you, it's been like two years since they gave Bonnie Bedelia a line; she might be Colombian now.

But it's like even when their problem is with something outside the two of them, they'll still snipe and eyeroll - 'cause of course The Gays can't go two seconds without a good eyeroll - at each other.
I get that they can't have a gay couple being too affectionate on network TV, in case someone's grandmother is

I like how this show kind of acknowledges that your high school boyfriend/best friends are most likely not going to be that forever and have Tessa seem aware of it.
It's like she's making the best of her situation and seems fairly happy, but she'll quite gladly zoom off the second she gets a chance to.

Why won't Cam and Mitchell just break up, already?
It's such a chore to watch a couple who don't seem to like each other even a little bit.
Though yeah, I'll agree that the last couple minutes of the episode completely saved it.
Just when you think you're out, it pulls you back in…

Auf Wiedersehen *air kisses and sad guitar music*

I think Kristina's mom was mentioned as being far away at some point, when she wanted her around the beginning of this season and as for Joel, it's possible that he met Julia when they were at college and his family also live far away? Bit of a stretch and a guess, but it kinda works.

She really doesn't deserve anything, does she?!
I don't know why they've made her this whiny, indecisive, moon-eyed annoyance of a character, but they need to do something better with her next season.
I get that she's always been a kind of drifter who didn't quite finish growing up, but the character is making me

I actually like the 'Ellie and Jules running off together' running joke.
I would only stop liking it if it actually happened and we end up in Ren Mar, with Jules developing a coke addiction.
(I realise that Jules would be the more natural pick for Nancy, with the hair and being able to sex her way out of situations, but

Really? Like I said, she reminds me of Veronica from Better Off Ted with the stilted delivery - even stole her bun. She's an actual bunhead.

Scene in a Mall. Emily has a breakdown, you'll have fun.

I dunno, Emily liked her Venetian apples plenty.
But you're right, they definitely feel more like different characters now, rather than 'Emily' and 'Eccentric, dancing, spinster Emily'.

Oh, Gilmore Girls' first season was definitely rocky.
Though there was that Christmassy hospital episode that was pretty fantastic.

With the Truly thing, I think it would've just added one too many things into this episode, but they've laid the foundation for it.
Other than an excuse to bring Liza Weil in, I can't think they wouldn't have had the 'make Truly shop-less' story without heading towards her setting up shop somewhere in the compound.
Also,

That first bit of Melanie violence was a jaw-dropper.
I had to skip back to check it actually happened.
Best thing I've seen in weeks.
Also, is Liza Weil's character (name eludes me - Millie?) going to be appearing more regularly from now on?
I approve.
She's like the spawn of Paris Gellar and Veronica Palmer.
