that's not to say that It Takes a Nation of Millions .. didn't blow my mind; I swear I listened to that LP *every single night* with my brother for around 12 months …
but I'm still more likely to listen to Yo! Bum Rush the Show these days than any other P.E. album ..

I still think I love the sloppy, anarchic Yo! Bum Rush the Show! the best.
Diminishing returns for Public Enemy in my eyes, but those first 2 albums were so incredibly ground-breaking that they get the proverbial lifetime pass for mine ..

loved their first three albums, 'In Our Gun' is easily on par with the (excellent) first two albums - diminishing returns thereafter imo, but all of their albums have at least a handful of great tracks.

Haven't listened to this one yet but looking forward to it - must say I jumped the gun early with Salad Days and wrote it off as being kinda limp; I couldn't have been more wrong and wound up absolutely loving it.
