meh, unless it gets to Gary Glitter levels I can overlook a lot; I'm sure there's plenty of skeletons in the closets of some of my favorite artists that I'm not even aware of.

yeah I thought that was an odd assessment too; Lennon had a wicked sense of humor.

Is that you Alan Partridge?

that's a helluva paraphrase!

ludicrous.

Simple.
Lennon's bit is better.

Definitely - you only have to listen to the albums to come to that conclusion - there's actually bugger-all evidence of McCartney's drumming, which is certainly adequate, but there's a shit-ton of evidence spelling out Ringo's sheer awesomeness.

Best guitar player, not best drummer (although he could play the drums- Ringo was better).

First one to say Harrison truly earns the Hipster tag and deserves a headbutt to the scrotum ..
First one to bring up Lennon's played-up misogyny gets the AV Bleeding Heart award (although really that should have a lot of competition this year).

love that track, but probably prefer 'Rattlesnake', def one of my faves for 2014 ..

I got a total Silence of the Lambs vibe ..

you wanna play hide the Nazi?

pretty sure James Bulger's killers are out .. remember the footage at the time, horrifying ..

well, plot/villain I can probably concede, but I *liked* flawed Korra - she always had a good heart but was impatient and rash - if she was perfect and Aang-like I would have been bored/disappointed … I'm equally happy that she's matured and grown, but if she'd been perfect from the get-go the show wouldn't have had

yes, loved Book 3, but the path forward is a lot murkier in Book 4; Korra herself recognizes the complexity of the situation, and never has there been so much ambiguity in the good guys/bad guys dichotomy.

I made the assumption that they *couldn't* make one less episode; surely Nick orders a certain number of eps per season?

S2 finale?
Agreed, it was epic; sadly lumped in with all the negativity that grew around S2 - I recently re-watched the first two seasons and really, apart from 2, maaaybe 3 slowish, flattish episodes, S2 had plenty of great stuff.
I reckon this season has easily had as many slowish, flattish episodes, but the goodwill

agree totally @vandalcabbage:disqus , pro-bending was one of my least favourite things about S1 - it certainly served a purpose, and I didn't *hate* it by any means - but I don't bemoan it's disappearance from the story.

I’ve loved and defended Korra from the get-go, but this was an unforeseen kick in the nuts.
A franchise-worst episode, the dreaded clip-show in all its ungainly glory.
What’s worse is that I’ve only just completed a re-watch of seasons 1 & 2, so I had no need for a ‘refresher’ ..
Surely this kind of decision comes down

I really like the simple, stripped-down Korra intro, but that link was very cool and nicely edited, thanks.
