she did actually, just re-watched early eps recently, there was blushing ..

* loved seeing Bumi and Bumju again, if only briefly

the word 'freak' is substituted' for 'fuck' like 150,000 times, all from Hopper's insane Frank.
the tv edit was actually the first time I'd ever seen any Lynch at all, just stumbled onto it late one night on tv as a kid, blew me away.

bustin' made him feel good.

Jesus, @Molly Eichel, way to make a grown man tear up!

There was one time when I was both a Sesame Street and Star Wars obsessed child of maybe 3, 4 years old.
Casually watching Sesame St. one cold Melbourne morning, as was my routine, when who should fucking appear but ****R2-D2 and C-3PO*** .

One last thing:

A Bush Baby.

I loved the tea kettle reveal too, gorgeous ..

I remember when Aang went into hibernation while his Air Nation brethren were wiped out ..

Nuktuk!

* As a commenter pointed out recently on AV, this show has become increasingly female-centric in terms of it’s major characters, and it has been wonderfully natural and successful in putting these often-powerful women and girls front and centre.

I could watch Monsieur Hulot's Holiday on perpetual loop and be perfectly content; such a relaxing, enjoyable movie.

plus I didn't like the way she was all too willing to deploy Korra like some kind of A-bomb.
the assassination attempt will be interesting ..

I disagree, I think the technological and societal/business advances rendering bending to a mere commodity in many cases is part of what's made Korra unique, while still building upon the A:tLAB world in a natural progression

well said; with Zuko, Toph, the perhaps slightly inadequate solution for the a fractured parent/child relationship was 'choose your own path'.

The show's early handling of Zuko absolutely set the template here, and it's served the show really well, I agree

exactly; I also saw some small parallel with regards to Balance in Aasami's approach to healing the rift with Sato …

I like this take.

her intense, passionate expression as Varrick rebuked her for not protecting him, eyes awater ..
