exactly, the show is completely generic (well apart from there being a fat chick in it, which I suppose is novel); unless they're actually re-using the scripts then I don't see why they would have been stupid enough to have bought the thing in the first place ..

I love George and in some ways he was the sharpest, no-bullshit Beatle - but this revisionistic tendency for a lot of people to regard his songwriting as criminally underrated is rubbish - he *did* write some great stuff ('I want to tell you' is one of my very faves too - gets a mention in Infinite Jest…
indeed, I said as much when Hey Ya was doing some tidy business - I was fascinated by the McCartney clip as a kid, and the song itself is one Macca solo song I can embrace without reservation.
