Absolutely! I'm enjoying his WTF interview right now. I totally disagree with the reviewer above, this is super interesting… a brash right-wing kid, deciding to let himself be gay? That's not shallow, ok.

People were surely thinking about the kill Olive possibility before it happened, but wanted to try all other means to stop the universe-convergence first - kinda like the bridge decision. Walter had seen enough and probably understood better than anybody that there really was no other option. And he knew there was a…
Oh I knew she looked familiar, Gilmore Girls.
That does make some sense Xaa, that song was the best example of the way the Beatles were going, Megan could be astute enough to point Don in that direction first knowing he wouldn't be likely to get through any whole song. Also there's no reason Don couldn't have just put on a different song instead but that's…
What kind of father is disappointed in his daughter for giving up her dream of being an ~actress~ to marry a highly successful businessman? (in the 60's in particular) Only a French-Canadian Marxist professor. jeez. Not that Don is the perfect catch anymore, being divorced and all.
Yes I think this season definitely deserves the high grades.
Also, apparently the bridge is the cause of the significant "healing" that the other universe has experienced in this timeline. It's not just about the loss of friendly personal contact between the two teams but that the quality of life in general over there will stop improving.
The Walters should understand DRJ's psyche better than the rest of the team members, being mad scientists themselves. It sure was nice to see them bond.
Really? I thought that line was kind of hilarious. At least, I "lol'd" at it. I think people just show up at the hater ready to hate.
Ghost-Bobby would surely be able to outwit any hunter… but he is an interesting concern. I also don't think they'll let him turn evil/crazy, that would be terrible for the character and the show overall (case in point: Cas is going to have to do a LOT more to redeem himself, and I'm not sure that can be pulled off…
Yes, this review was strangely bitter. I too think the show used to be better, but by season 7 most shows get strung-out… reviews are written in context of expectations and this one seemed heavily weighted by some kung-fu/samurai monster baggage that happily I do not carry. To me, this episode brought that…
I was also kind of worried about the possibility that Bobby might have chosen to stay earth-bound, but instead it was such a joy to see him again in this episode. A welcome turn from that jarring re-introduction to Cas and Meg last week. I also thought he looked thinner, a little ghostly, that seems fitting.
ha, no kidding. I definitely thought of Steve McQueen too. Almost certainly over-analyzing now but this comment makes me wonder if it's more a reference to Quarles "escaping" from Harlan somehow? I kinda doubt it/hope not….
Yes, that whole sequence was great. I agree with this whole thread, it's becoming more and more apparent that Quarles excels at fucking with people, and is terrible at business. Looking forward to seeing who all he manages to take down with him, and how!
I also stumbled across this on Netflix several months ago, and was delighted at how consistently funny and smart it was. This excitement rivaled only by my first discovery of 30 Rock. I burned through those BOT episodes on Netflix so quickly, I so wish there were more, it is really a shame the show wasn't given more…
Yes, I agree with both of you. It's gotta be hard to pull off any believable love story without some cheesy-sounding lines, especially in the sci-fi context/format. I actually think that embracing the concept of love as the theme for the entire episode made the plot step stronger — very important since love is now…
Yeah I also find it strange that observers don't understand love, now that we know they're human - for humans they have shown very few human traits. It doesn't seem likely that humans should "evolve beyond" love, since love is connected to not just breeding but offspring care and success.
But, we all knew what he was about to say, right (Peter is in his own universe, because his favorite people couldn't let go of him)… it didn't bother me more than a chuckle and eye-roll, it was more a triumphant moment in my view. At least look at it this way, now the story can move along.
yeah that's funny, and true.
