"predates the widespread use of mood-altering drug" - ah ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha wheee

The best cast member gets fingered?

I think it was very restrained of them not to mention his excellent role in Archer. Although I would've like to have read about it.

"The real director to make this movie was Douglas Sirk." Ouch! You English wrongly my dear fellow.

At the risk of missing the point entirely… couldn't we just have less television?

Well, my wilful cultural ignorance raised its tasteful head just there when I stopped reading this because Sonia said she hadn't seen the Simpsons.

This review makes the film sound amazing.

Man, Year One looks fucking excellent. Either that trailer is lying to us or Nathan is and I refuse to believe either of those things could be true.

You're blowing my mind dude!

"everything from Steve Martin to Martin Short" - I get the feeling that she might be taking the piss out of you.

And I expected so much depth and characterisation from the writer of Dead Snow! Still, I'll watch anything with Gemma Arterton in it. On my own, with the sound down. Masturbating.

Despite myself I've enjoyed quite a few of the books. Of course I expected the film to be god-awful but I didn't expect them to choose this book. The one where he just walks around town a lot. Why not do the first one first? At least in that one Reacher is caught up against his will while he's minding his own business.

Somehow I assume that to be in Archer you must also be awesome but Bloom, Skyfall and Downton? Sheesh. Seriously, Downton?

Great piece - the man's a hero but I'm pretty sure (ie I'm positive, since it's one of my favourite episodes) that Leavelle sings I Will Always Love You and not Wind Beneath My Wings.
