Yeah it was my second-favorite episode thus far too.

Hmm… fair enough.
Dr. Linus
I have kind of a geeky, fanboy-ish problem with tonight's episode. It was established in "Some like it Hoth" that Miles can't communicate with the ashes of a dead person. In a flashback scene, he lied to Walt's brother-in-law from Breaking Bad, and then returned and told the truth. Just a little nitpick…
You should just keep Twitter turned off at all times anyway.
When Jason Reitman was on the B.S. Report I got really happy, because I wanted to hear what he had to say about Up in the Air and the Oscar nominations and such. But he really came off as a huge d-bag, which was pretty disappointing because I wanted to like him.
Detroit Rock City came out around the time a friend of mine was on a Kiss kick. After the movie came out on video, we rented it and immediately wanted to go to a Kiss concert. Suffice to say, the concert experience wasn't as fun or funny as the movie made it out to be. I'm still glad I got to see them before they died…
He's also divorced and has like four kids… so he's got a lot of alimony bills racking up I imagine.
HELLO JOE!
The AVC and its commenters don't take kindly to James Cameron, unfortunately. It's like they blame him for nominating himself, forcing hundreds of millions of people to watch his movies, and hate on him for taking himself and his work seriously.
I found it refreshingly honest and kind of hilarious. It bordered on arrogant, but at least she had a point. It was a different kind of smugness than, say, a Sean Penn smugness.
Yeah I should note that I declined to see it because I think it looks terrible. Honestly, I'll probably never watch it, as it just looks like another Burton/Deep Hot Topic wankfest.
Alice's Gross
The gross for AiW over opening weekend is quite astonishing, but it'll be interesting to see how well it holds up over the next few weeks. I have a bunch of "hot topic"-style friends who all saw it opening weekend (I declined) and LOVED it, but that's because the film was targeted towards them. I'm…
The Hurt Locker was a great example of directing for dramatic tension and suspense. I'm glad to see KB win for this movie as well. It's a fine film and deserves its acclaim, regardless of whether or not it was directed by a female. Who really cares about that stuff? Are we still keeping tabs? The first woman to do…
Nope, SMW is my favorite in the series and easily in my top ten of all time.
I remember the moment I discovered the Star Worlds. My cousin was over and we were just kinda haphazardly playing. Still one of the fondest gaming memories from my childhood. I remember getting the blue yoshi baby and just going insane with laughter. It was a totally unexpected moment the likes of which I'll never…
It was real. I witnessed my older brother pulling that trick off many times. It's definitely real.
Last year, my girlfriend and I bought the Sega anniversary collection thing for Xbox 360. The original 3 Sonic games have not aged well. I don't have any of the sense of wonder and enjoyment I had when playing them as a kid. Mario has the opposite effect, however. The Mario games are still fun and enjoyable.
Yeah, Eff you, Jim Cameron! Eff you for making entertaining movies!
Basically, this African-American guy is wearing his heart on his sleeve, making this speech about going to Zimbabwe to make his movie, when all of a sudden this woman, who apparently took a bit longer to walk to the podium (she was quite hefty) essentially used her girth to push him out of the way and steal the mic…
Yeah that was awkward. This guy's giving a heartfelt thank you and BLAM!, he's interrupted by some behemoth of a woman.
