UP WITH MINISKIRTS

I got the indication from Locke telling Jack he's now one of them or whatever the last line was. My apologies if this assertion was wrong. I didn't mean any harm in it.

My ladyfriend still yells "What the fucking fuck!" when something is confusing and/or otherwise out of place.

@Claude

Claire and Kate
I couldn't have been the only one who was praying for Claire to shoot Kate on the dock, right? I mean, come on! That would have been awesome!

It says right in the linked article that they use the house as a vacation getaway for themselves, their family, and their friends.

Also somewhat interesting, A History of Violence is the last major Hollywood movie to be released on VHS.

Every single line you've typed in this thread is full of elitist "I'm better than you" attitude, Billy. Of course you're going to be far too myopic to see this. I'm reading your initial post. You've somehow decided that Yahoo is not relevant, and because of that, they have no right to decide what constitutes a movie

+10 points for Dumbledore

For me, it's a talking point. For you, it's something to direct snark at. I'm having fun discussing some of the films on the list. You're taking a "culturally elite" stance from your high horse. There's an obvious difference there.

I'm not defending it. I didn't say a single good thing about it. I'm just sick of hearing about it.

Boogie Nights has also aged extremely well. I think it's better now than it was in 1997. To think that PTA made this film when he was like 25 or something is incredible.

Best movie of 2006 and one of the best of the decade…

What's more adorable is the level of snark you're displaying over something as inconsequential as a list of movies.

As a fan of Clueless, I'm ok with its inclusion. It was definitely a "snapshot" of its era as well. Sure its dated as hell now (most anything in the 90s with a cellphone is pretty much instantly dated), but its still an entertaining film and one of the best teen comedies of the 90s (if not *the* best teen comedy of

One of Yahoo's caveats was "and pure cinematic entertainment" … which means Avatar probably deserves to be on the list merely for its value as the biggest cinematic draw of the past 13 years, the ground-breaking technology in its development as a movie, and as the showcase for the incoming 3D movement.

This is actually…
…a pretty great list. Nice to see some Hong Kong and Spanish cinema represented on this list. A lot better than I expected to see, anyway. I'm pretty ok with this.

Enough Already
We know you don't like Transformers, Scott or Keith (can't tell you two apart). Pretty soon I'm gonna start thinking you hate it so much that you actually secretly love it. This is like one of the ultra-homophobes who is secretly gay. You don't have to prove your love of film by bashing Transformers for

But will it..
…feature Will Smith yelling "Aw HELL NAH!"??? WILL IT!???

He's really not that bad. He's a pretty talented singer and dancer, so you know he's not a complete meathead like some of the other recent Hollywood "hunks." I've found him quite charming and affable in his recent movies. He could really make the transition to more serious fare and do well for himself.
