Kate episodes are usually amongst my least favorite (right there at the bottom with Jin/Sun eps), and this one was no different. The only stuff I found remotely interesting was the Sawyer and Jin stuff.

I believe the "outrage" was manufactured hype. The commercial ended up being incredibly nondescript and innocent.
In this thread: A bunch of fucking pussies.
Please stop mentioning your fucking Twitter feed. You're becoming part of the problem.
The flap over the Tebow ad
I cannot for the life of me understand why people were in such a panty-twist over this ad. Or maybe they weren't, but the media was sure shoving it down our throats that they were. This ad was, while stupid, a fairly innocuous love-fest between a mother and son.
Reggie Bush and Kim Kardashian!
Yeah it's a waste all right. I guess pneumonia works slowly at first, but once you get past a point, you just can't be saved. Too bad as I always like Brittany Murphy (and her voice is super cute).
Miles is definitely the most underrated of the freighter characters. The fact that he's stuck around for 2 seasons is pretty awesome (is he the last one left?). Let's see.. Faraday, dead. Charlotte, dead. Naomi, dead. Oh yeah, Lapidus… but Lapidus never got much island time (or as much screen time as Miles).
Benjamin Button
He was the best character by far in Benjamin Button. In a long, boring movie with way too many characters and unnecessarily long, slow pacing, he stuck out like a bright spot on a rainy day. Yeah, I didn't like the movie all that much. Fincher's been better.
I don't find him particularly funny either. But then again, I really only know him from his brief cameos in Funny People and I Love You Man, two good but not great comedies in which he only has a handful of lines.
They do teach classes. Sheldon has been shown as a guest speaker in Leonard's class, and Sheldon uses his own class as a punishment for when his friends break his 3 strikes rule.
District 9 was shit? Oh you troll…
Christoph Waltz deserves that Oscar like no supporting actor before him (Bardem included). His performance is the glue that holds IB together. Without him, the film's quality dips at least 2 points for me.
District 9's nomination has single-handedly improved the image of the Oscars in my mind.
Was hoping for a …
… Sharlto Copley nom for District 9, but ah well. I'll take the Best Picture nom for it.
It's cool to hate on Will Ferrell.
It's one of the many post-Potter adventure series, which like Lemony Snicket and Golden Compass is now getting a (presumably) mediocre film release.
Documentary about artists
I'm interested in knowing more about the documentary about the artists who go on a road trip to confront their patrons. It sounds like a unique and interesting premise.
Yeah it'll either be Percy Jackson or whatever it's called or The Wolfman, both of which look less than enticing.
I'll say it again: When a song/album/whatever from 2008 can win a Grammy in 2010, it's kinda ridiculous.
