Horror comedy rarely does well at the box office, but I'm thinking differently for Zombieland. I'm thinking a 20 mil opening weekend or thereabouts. I at least expect it will have a better opening than Drag Me To Hell and it's almost guaranteed to open bigger than Slither and Jennifer's Body.

I believe Don Draper is 36 years old at this point in the story.

It was a very well-acted moment from both of them. Peggy played it off pretty stoically as well. If I were her, I'd have broken down in tears. Don was merciless.

This was a great episode, and really reminded me of the tone of the late first season/early second season. Kind of reminded me of one of my favorite Mad Men eps "Three Sundays" from the second season as well. This season has really taken on a dream-like tone (maybe leftover from the trip to California?). Why are we encouraging this bullshit?

You're right, Snape… if it had been a WWI or WWII injury, it would be a completely different story. Britain has historically always been respectful of injured veterans.

Yeah I liked Lois a lot better than Hildie and the other secretaries… but this episode was probably her swan song.

I get the feeling that Roger saw some crazy shit go down in the war, Navy or not. My grandpa was a navy man, and survived two torpedo attacks on two separate ships. Roger also harbored some initial contempt for Freddie Rumsen, because he was a part of the "signal corps" and not a "real" soldier/sailor/whatever. Only

I started to feel sorry for him too, Arundel. I've never liked him as a character, but it seems he did his job quite well (according to their standards, not S-C's) and he gets "rewarded" with a trip to a third-world country. Manhattan to Bombay… talk about going from the penthouse to the outhouse.

It was probably either Pete or Peggy's office, I imagine.

"I didn't ask to be secretary of balloon doggies, the balloon doggies *demanded* it!"

That's what shocked the hell out of me too. I wanted to tell my gf about how shocking it was, to try and process it with her, but she would not consent (Unlike Joan's husband, I'm not gonna force anything on her…)! She's in Singapore on business and is missing some of S3. I can't wait for her to see this episode. I

I pray for Joan…

Don't forget it was Don who gave Peggy Freddy's old office too.

They shared a moment about how both grew up poor. It was one of the better scenes of this season, which has been a slight letdown for me so far (though we still have a long way to go).

The lawnmower scene…
…as soon as Lois got on the lawnmower, I fucking KNEW shit was about to get real. And them BAM… blood is EVERYWHERE. That was one of the most fucked-up things I've ever seen on television. WOW. I'm reeling just thinking about it. I never want to revisit this episode ever again. Damn. How well-done

I'm starting to think…
…this movie will never be released. The casting changes and all that just don't seem to bode well.

I actually really dig…
…Brand New Day. It's not a bad album at all for a piece of pop music from 1999.
