The Weinstein Company
It's no reason why they're in trouble… why would they release films that target two similar demographics within a week of each other? Why would they release a film called "Halloween" in August (bearing in mind I know they did this in '07 as well)? Why would they release a high profile horror film

For as much as I admired Up, I really think Coraline deserves to win it this year. Assuming it gets nominated, that is.

Tasha…
I have to agree with you. Distict 9 was great and by far the best movie of the summer for me. And I loved the main character's performance as well.

I'm also tired of religion winning in the science vs. religion stuff. Everyone knows sciences beats the shit out of religion in the real world. Why do so many movies and tv shows depict otherwise?

I was a nerd in high school, but a popular and funny nerd. It helped that I was good at sports, played in a band, and actually had girlfriends, but I was a huge nerd nonetheless. I mean, I read comic books and owned a Dreamcast. That automatically makes me a nerd, right?

I kept asking myself whether or not Jesse Eisenberg is in this movie. But apparently that's Demetri Martin. …huh.

Keith, WTF is that in your avatar? Because it kinda looks like spread legs and a vagina.

I noticed…
…that B+ is a fairly common grade among AV Club movie reviewers. And it seems like everything you rate as B+ I tend to enjoy. Thus, using the transitive property, I will enjoy Big Fan.

My mom's been a lifelong VF subscriber, which means I spent a lot of time perusing through VF while on the crapper. And this is how I came to know Dominick Dunne. Then I caught his specials on TruTV. Then I actively searched out anything he wrote. The man was a legend.

This is…
…much sadder to me personally than the death of Edward Kennedy. Dominick Dunne's coverage of trials, writings, and television programs were always entertaining and informative. He will be missed.

Hmm…
I always thought "Doo Wah Diddy" and "Do ron ron" were the same exact song. Shows what I know.

Adventureland was probably my favorite movie this year. I agree with Kristen Stewart… she can be hard to to like as an actor. Why does she always look so angry? But Jesse Eisenberg gives a pretty honest portrayal, Reynolds is great in his role, and I like a lot of the supporting characters as well (Martin Starr for

Adventureland will be like 24.99 at best buy, which is an acceptable price for a new Blu Ray release with a digital copy.

Yeah I too get the feeling that once Roger's father passed away, SC lost some of its luster/reputation. But there's not really a whole lot of back story to support that, so the viewer is free to interpret it however.

How can 50 Cent have any money left? No wonder he's dropping a new album on us, ya'll.

I like 808s better than Graduation as well.

"If you found this episode to be boring, you do not have the attention span necessary to appreciate Mad Men."

Nice to see…
…Westerburg high on this list. I just did a "Heather's" themed podcast last week and that film has been on my mind a lot ever since. It really is one of my favorite movies of all time. It was probably also the last time I actually liked Winona Ryder in a movie (or at least until Girl, Interrupted anyway).

I have to say…
…that this may have been my least favorite Mad Men episode in a long time. I can't really put a finger on why. It was kind of boring. I'm not really interested in the Betty's family dilemma that's going on, especially since her brother is such a weasel. The whole Pete vs. Ken thing seems like it might

Except Reservoir Dogs… *obviously*
