Every Tarantino movie contains some semblance of feminism. This isn't anything new.

Sugartits, Faulkner makes me gag as well. Luckily I only had to teach Barn Burning.

Wow, I had a similar experience to the OP. I first read Catcher in the Rye at age 21, and didn't get what the hubbub was about. I found myself struggling to finish this book about a rich, selfish, pretty idiotic protagonist. Maybe I should go back and read it again.

I guess this is proof…
…that the bottom-feeding mouth-breathers who read the Twilight novels will buy anything.

That was genius, Repairman.

What a stupid fucking article
Is that shit what passes for journalism these days? Some moron "tweets" (I fucking hate that term by the way) about whether or not she likes a movie, and this has Hollywood scared? I call bull shit.

Just fucking die already.

I generally don't care for Kill Bill vol. 1, but it has some fun scenes. The battle with the crazy 88's, the sword fight with Lucy Liu, and the over all build-up to the inevitable second part. However, I find it to be somewhat slow moving, filled with flashbacks, and incredibly self-indulgent. Oh, and I fucking HATE

Stuck
The Mallard incident also inspired a very fine second season episode of CSI (back when it was still a novel concept and before spin offs killed the fun).

The CGI does look surprisingly incomplete. I'm so sick of CGI that doesn't look real, by the way. Take the recent GI Joe live action movie. None of the weapons or technology in that film looks like you could reach out and touch it. Nothing. This sorta looks the same way.

At this point..
…it is *impossible* for Avatar to live up to the hype. I'm sure it's gonna be at the very least *good* but I highly doubt it's going to be as great as Cameron says it is. Here's to hoping, however…

Haven't seen it in *years* but I fondly remember the neon-middle finger car decoration.

He and Richard Edson have some of the best scenes in that piece of shit.

Fisher Stevens
I'm glad he enjoyed his time working on Hackers. I really love that film, despite the fact that I can completely understand why others would hate it. For all its shitty faults, it represents this magical time in the mid-90s when computers could do anything, even with 28.8 kbps modems. I also really dig

I got my Xbox 360 during Christmas 2006. It hasn't Red Ringed just yet (*knocks on wood*). I might just bu a PS3 this fall now that the price has dropped.

Didn't Nancy Meyers last film go completely over budget as well? I believe it was called "The Holiday" or some such and starred Kate Winslet and Jack Black. I remember reading an article that, get this, Meyers had an "English style" cottage built in England, because the cottages already there didn't look English

Every time a new Hollywood "blockbuster" is announced, I tend to check the budget out of sheer habit. I'm often shocked to see that films like Land of the Lost cost 100 million fucking dollars to make. For fuck's sake, what in that movie could cost 100 million dollars? For that matter, what in Funny People cost 75

You're not alone, Spam Remix. I don't care for Johnny Depp either.

I have nothing much to add…
…except that Hostel II was one of the biggest pieces of crap I've ever paid to see in theaters.

My own Twilight story…
I have a relatively younger friend (19) who I hang out with occasionally. She's an ex-gf of one of my buddies. They were still dating when the last Twilight book came out, and she was a huge fan. So she asked us to drive her to the midnight book release party at a Borders.
